WBPSC Exam

The West Bengal Public Service Commission is expected to release the WBCS notification soon. The Commission will conduct the WBCS prelims exam offline only. The Commission will notify all the WBCS dates in the official exam calendar.

The WBPSC is yet to release the WBPSC exam calendar on its official website. Meanwhile the Commission has migrated its official website to psc.wb.gov.in for security purposes.

The candidates should note that the West Bengal Civil Service (WBCS) notification will serve as the one stop solution for all the queries related to exam. The candidates must read the WBCS notification to know all the information regarding the WBPSC WBCS exam.

The West Bengal Public Service Commission releases the WBCS notification on its portal only. The candidates should note that it will mention the exam dates, vacancies, eligibility conditions, syllabus, exam pattern and other important informations. The candidates will be able to download the WBPSC notification in the following manner:

• Go to the portal - psc.wb.gov.in.
• Open the advertisement/announcement tab given in the top navigation.
• Click on the West Bengal Civil Service 2024 advertisement link.
• The notification will appear on the screen.
• Download the WBCS notification PDF for future reference.

The Commission also mention that there will be interview for all the posts included in the West Bengal Civil Service Exam. The Commission assign less marks to the WBCS Group D Interviews. The West Bengal Public Service Commission mention the age limit for the exam in the official WBCS notification. The Commission is expected to release the WBCS 2025 notification soon on its officail website. The age limit conditions for the WBCS Group B service are very peculiar. The age limit prescribed for the WBCS Group B Service is between 20 to 36 years. Candidates applying for Group B must ensure they fall within this age range to be eligible for the service.

The candidates who are between 20 and 21 years of age are eligible to fill out the form for WBCS 2024 but only for the Group B services.

• Assistant Commissioner of Revenue in the integrated West Bengal Revenue Service

The West Bengal Public Service Commission can provide the WBCS application correction facility this year. The Commission will mention for such facility in the official notification. In general, once the application form for the WBCS exam is submitted, candidates cannot edit the compulsory fields.

The candidates should read the criteria mentioned on psc.wb.gov.in for the registration process. The candidates should follow these and proceed accordingly. The following documents are required with the WBCS enrollment form are:

• Active mobile number.
• Valid email ID.
• Father's name.
• Mother's name.

The validity of the WBCS answer key for 2024 is typically until the results of the exam are officially announced. Candidates can refer to the answer key to estimate their scores and evaluate their performance until the official results are declared by the West Bengal Public Service Commission.

The West Bengal Public Service Commission will release the WBCS 2024 answer key on its official website. The official answer key will be released online within a week of the exam. The Commission will give a time frame of seven days to send the objections. The candidates are suggested to send a standard reference in support of their objections.

After considering the valid objections, the West Bengal Public Service Commission will prepare its final answer key based on which the WBCS 2024 result will be published.
