The WBPSC WBCS syllabus for the prelims and Mains exam is mentioned separately in the official notification. The West Bengal Public Service Commission has changed the WBCS syllabus and exam pattern. The Commission released an official notice in this regard on its official website. The Commission added one section in the prelims syllabus and added one additional Multiple Choice Question paper in the Prelims exam stage.
The WBCS Prelims Syllabus for the West Bengal Civil Services exam includes eight subjects/topics, with a total of 200 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) asked in the exam. The topics covered in the WBCS Prelims Syllabus are:
