Hi Tanweer,
You can take admission in any of the UG courses offered at Calcutta University if you have cleared your 10+2 level exam or an exam considered to be equivalent by the University. No, but don't know why JIS College's rank is so high in local newspaper ratings, may be it is paid promotion but from study point of view there are many other colleges which are better than JIS.
