West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences is one of the best dairy technology colleges in India. Placements: Almost 100% of the students can get placements if they study well. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA.
Around 100% of students get placements in our college. The highest salary package offered is above 5 LPA and the lowest salary is Rs.15,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Amul, GCMMF, Mother Dairy, Keventer, Parle, etc. The average salary package is 4.5 LPA.

The placement rate at West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences (WBUAFS) is quite high, with almost 100% of students getting placed. The highest salary package offered is above 5 LPA, and the lowest is around 1.80 LPA.
Every Year passouts either get government job if WBPSC has released vacancies for VO or they get into companies, start veterinary clinics, or apply to a vet clinic for job. The seat intake for the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programme at the West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences (WBUAFS) is 44 seats. The reservations of seats for this programme are as follows:
- SC-22%, ST-6%, OBC-A-10%, OBC-B-7%, ICAR Nominee-15%, Person with Disability (PwD)-5%*
- GTA- 01* seat in each course.
