It is better to be sure with a higher score in CAT/XAT but if you did not score well then use these tactics.
First shortlisted some colleges according to your rank or with the help of the invitation brochures you received.
Choose your interested field of job (core finance /financial product sales/HR/hardcore sales /marketing-sales).
Check if the average job profile which is offered by your college is your cup of tea or not (ask it better from the placement officer) and check job profile sustainability from LinkedIn alumni tour.
Find the average in hand salary for your choice of field (not CTC/package as this include TA, DA, media-claim,
...more

You need to score around 80 percentile in CAT and XAT exam to convert IRMA. For SC, ST and OBC candidates, it is around 45 to 60 percentile.

Dear Chetna,
I would suggest you to give CMAT too in next time, because in case of low percentile, you have no problem to get admission as you are here a welcomed customer who is investing huge, but you get the college of this percentage. Generally, they have those company in hand where sustainability is very low. They have yearly bulk hire and fire strategy. So, try to do better in XAT to ensure a sustainable job profile with good in hand salary (check in hand salary not the CTC, be clever), feel free to write me.
Regards,
Subhajit

You can easily convert PGDM retail management and insurance business management because BIMTECH accepts CMAT score only for these two programs. For remaining two programs, you will need 70+ percentile in CAT/XAT.

Hi Ruchi,
No, there are no management seats. Also, your CAT/XAT score has only 2% weightage in the admission process. You need to take one of these exams to be eligible to apply for MICAT and clear MICAT to get into the GE/PI process. Hope this helps.

Hi Adarsha,
The scholarship of INR 1,00,000 is only for students who have secured 85 percentile and above in their CAT & XAT exams. CMAT is not considered.
