CAT, MAT, XAT etc are entrance examinations conducted by various institutes for admission for their MBA programs. you can give IITTM's own exam conducted by them, or you can apply with score card of any Management entrance exam, which you are going to give latest.
earlier it was easy to get in IITTM , but from this year, its quit tough to get in, so try to get good marks in entrance exams, and apply with CAT (if possible) or with, in which you get maximum marks.

Cutoff for CAT/XAT is 99.9X percentile

You need to study only 4 hours daily and try to assess your strength and weakness in the course of study. You need a good coaching, where you can get good teacher, which can meet your needs.

You can appear for exam like IIFT, I think in India no other college is as good as IIFT (Indian institute of foreign trade) for international business.
