XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by XLRI, Jamshedpur for admission to MBA/PGDM programmes. Apart from XLRI and 10 other XAMI member colleges, over 1,000 B-schools accept XAT scores for admission to their post-graduate management programmes.

According to me obviously yes because degree is a degree, may it be a correspondence or a regular. It depends on the schools what percentage or grade is required for the exams and for sure it is all upto to you how much you score in your entrance exams. So I think yes you should go for your target and best of luck for your future.

IIM Kolkata has a the highest CAT cutoff which is 97+ percentile in order to get Management admission. There are other prominent Top MBA colleges in Kolkata where the CAT/XAT/CMAT/IIFT exam scores are been considered for the admissions to MBA programme. The cutoff lies in the range of 70 to 80+ percentile.

XAT 2023 preparation tips from toppers - Those aspirants who start their preparation in advance, all have enough time to cover the entire syllabus and memorize all the basic concepts. Since XAT is one of the toughest MBA entrance exams, they need a plan as well as a fool proof preparation strategy.

No, you will not get admission in MBA if your percentile is less than 50 as the minimum requirement is 55% or more as per the colleges. Your score in MAT or XAT only matters only for getting seat avakolabity among huge competition, when your score in degree is good you get admission in MBA colleges. If you have good money then you can opt for payment seats from the colleges which are 2 or 3 times higher than the actual fees.

I think you should leave it as soon as possible because it not only wasting your time and hard earned money but it also hinders your mental peace and stability and for a exam like CAT and XAT you need mental peace for a long period of time that's all I can say it's all upto you now.

The ideal time to start XAT exam preparation is about nine months, but those who start preparation late, can also crack it if they follow a focused study plan.
