Candidates can apply online at XIMB Bhubaneswar. Candidates can apply on the portal only if they meet the eligibility. Aspirants must fill out the form and pay the fee for the preferred course. 

X-GMT – XIM General Management Aptitude Test is an online examination conducted for admission to various Master’s degree programmes. Candidates who do not have a CAT/ XAT/GMAT score can appear for this exam.

Aspirants need to apply on the Xavier University's website for course at XIMB and X-GMT. For other entrance exam scores, candidates need to apply on their respective websites. 

The Management college is ranked top 6 in India’s Top 100 private B-School and No. 1 private B-School by State Ranking in the Education World India Private B-Schools Ranking 2021-22. NIRF has ranked the institute as the top 34^th Management institute in the country. Hence, it is one of the prestigious institutes for Management studies.

Work experience is not mandatory to apply for MBA course at XIMB. Aspirants do need to meet the eligibility criteria i.e. graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 55% aggregate from a recognised university.

XIMB confirms application acceptance over mail. Candidates can get their registered email id for the mail sent by the admission team. Once the application is accepted, candidates are called for further rounds of selection.

XIMB selects candidates based on entrance exam scores of candidates. Aspirants must have scores in CAT, MAT, XAT, X-GMT, etc. for admission to MBA and Executive MBA courses. Selected candidates also need to pass a written test and GDPI round. Admission to PhD course is based on X-RAT/ UGC-NET followed by PI and other selection rounds.

There is no age limit for admission intake to Xavier Institute of Management except for a few courses like PhD.

Admission at XIMB for PG courses is based on GMAT/CAT/GMAT/X-GMT scores along with the written test and GDPI performance. For a PhD, the applicant’s academic records and SOPs are considered. Apart from registering for the entrance exams, candidates must also apply online to XIM University for being eligible for admission.

Looking at the past two years’ data (2022 and 2023), the highest package, average package, and median package improved during 2023 placements in comparison to 2022.
