The cut-off for finance is 50% for general and 35% for SC/ST.

All XISS don't consider MAT score for admission. XISS consider CMAT/CAT/XAT score for the admission.
Last year CMAT cut off was 80 percerntile (GENERAL CATEGORY) and you do have time for CMAT exam to tighten your seat belt and go for it.

Marketing stream has average placements while HR has very good placements.A average salary is Rs 5 lakhs per annum.

Finance placement is appreciated by all. Approximately 90% of the student gets placed with average salary of Rs 5 lakh per annum.
Talking about the present 2nd year batch the placement had already started and is going very well.

For department of finance average salary was Rs 5 lakh per annum. Total no. of seats is 60. Cut off for CMAT is 80% and CAT is 55% for general candidates.

Yes, you can take admission in other courses. The cutoff for HR is higher than others. You can go for marketing, finance, IT or RM.

The CAT cutoff for rural management in XISS is more than 30 marks. For XAT, it is 85 percentile and you need to score around 95 percentile in CMAT for the same.

The rural management course in XISS offers 100% placements with average package of Rs 4 lakhs per annum. The academic fee is Rs 6 lakhs per annum for two years excluding cost of rural camp, institutional visits, educational tour and hostel charges.
