It totally depends on your interest. If you have always been an initiator or a leader, go for marketing or operations. If you like numbers and keep yourself updated with the stock market, then opt for finance, and if you are good with managing people around you, then you can go for HR.

There is no ideal work experience duration. Every company has their own preferences. Some companies want freshers while some might want a person with 3-4 years work experience. So, it should not be a big worry for you.

Engineering marks are considered for final selection after the interview and GD round. Cut-off marks for XAT keeps changing every year. There is no particular cutoff. It also depends on the stream you want to opt for. Ideally, you should target to have above 97 percentile.
