When it comes to admission, Yale is extremely selective. Yale University's acceptance rate is 4.5%, so, it selects almost five people out of every 100 applicants. Candidates need to have an excellent profile, a good academic record, high test scores, and perfectly crafted essays.
The university has currently enrolled 6,700+ undergraduate students and 8,700+ graduate students. As such, there are no score cutoffs for standardized tests, however, candidates need to score higher to increase their chances of getting into Yale. Last year, test scores for first-year enrolled students were
- SAT-Verbal: 730-780
- SAT-Math: 740-790
- ACT
