If an Indian student misses the Yale University regular admission deadline, they will be marked as a late applicant and then there will be fewer chances for consideration.
The elite institutions like Yale follow the admission deadline policy very strictly.
If the Yale deadline was missed due to expected circumstances, the students should send an email to the admissions team immediately.

Primarily, Yale University USA operates on a Fall semester admission cycle for most of its programs.
Some exceptions are there for some Yale courses like within the professional schools and specialised programs.
For these courses, there may be a January or mid-year start. The Yale MBA offered here has a rounds system, so it has different timelines.
