Few Seats, Tough Competition: There aren't many seats available, and there are a lot of candidates.

Merit-based Selection: In general, scores over the minimal cutoff are given precedence.

Other (possibly): Some universities include extracurricular activities or Class 12 grades in their selection process (verify ZHCET regulation).

Reservation of groups: SC, ST, and OBC groups are subject to lower cutoffs.

Multiple Rounds (Possibility): Check the ZHCET for details on rounds in which minimal scores may participate.

Round 1: Applicants can register, upload supporting documentation, select the colleges and courses they want to take, and then submit their application within this first round.
Round 2 (if necessary): Should tickets still be available following Round 1, there may be a second round. This gives candidates who didn't make the cut in the first round the opportunity to run again in accordance with their rank and the number of seats available.

Round 3 (if necessary): In a manner similar to Round 2, if seats remain vacant following Round 2
