Hi, This is the eligiblity criteria:- M.Sc Zoology eligibility criteria, the candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized school or board in India. The candidate must have passed B.Sc Zoology or equivalent with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Thank you.

Hello, As you have pursued the postgraduation in Zoology and want to make your career in the research field, then it will be good to appear in the CSIR NET Exam. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research conducts the CSIR NET Exam to select the deserving candidates for the post of Assistant Professor and for the award of Junior Research Fellowship. So, if you appear in the CSIR NET and qualify for the exam, there will be a good chance to become a researcher. It doesn't matter whether you are a repeater or a fresher because the eligibility criteria require a minimum 50% in your under graduation degree with no backlogs so work hard and pass out with at least 50 %. Good luck!
