Candidates who have completed a higher degree in any discipline from any UGC/AICTE recognized institution in India or abroad with the required percentage are also eligible for the course.
Final year appearing candidate can also apply on provisional basis.
SC/ST candidate must have secured passing marks.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Horticulture or Forestry from a recognised university in India. The candidate must also have passed the degree with minimum 50% marks. Some colleges do allow the admission with any basic graduation.

Instead of going abroad, I will suggest you to complete your Ph.D here, because after completing your Ph.D for equivalence, you have to apply it for AIU (Association of Indian University). So, finally, your work place will be India.
