A minimum of 50% in their 10+2 board exams from any recognised institute in any subject is required for admission to the one-year NTT training Diploma program. Students from any stream (Commerce, Science or Humanities) are welcome to enrol.
In this course. Candidates are required to be excellent communicators with young children. The one-year Diploma programme is broken up into two semesters, each lasting six months. Candidates must successfully finish the required number of courses, each worth 3 or 4 credits.
NTT is generally referred to as a Diploma only. It is recognised as a Diploma when offered by teacher training institutions or government-affiliated colleges. Though some private institutes offer NTT as a certificate also. NTT as a diploma, tends to have a better scope.

LPU does not offer direct admission. However, admission to few courses is merit-based. Aspirants scoring a 65% aggregate have a good chance of getting admission in LPU. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the university to apply online. To apply for LPU, aspirants need to register for LPUNEST for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. LPU admission to most of the courses is based on LPUNEST score.
