Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE) in Pre Primary & Primary School colleges in Punjab

A minimum of 50% in their 10+2 board exams from any recognised institute in any subject is required for admission to the one-year NTT training Diploma program. Students from any stream (Commerce, Science or Humanities) are welcome to enrol.
In this course. Candidates are required to be excellent communicators with young children. The one-year Diploma programme is broken up into two semesters, each lasting six months. Candidates must successfully finish the required number of courses, each worth 3 or 4 credits. 

 

NTT  is generally referred to as a Diploma only. It is recognised as a Diploma when offered by teacher training institutions or government-affiliated colleges. Though some private institutes offer NTT as a certificate also. NTT as a diploma, tends to have a better scope.

I'd say the course itself is not tough. But there's a slight possibility of a challenge at the time of handling young children during your internship or job. Your approach needs to be patient and paired with high emotional quotient to deal and teach children.

GNDU offers admission as per notification issued by Punjab Government. The University offers admission to its UG and PG courses on the basis of both merit and entrance-based. Admission to most of the courses is based on candidates performance in the Hence, the university does not offer direct admission. The major concerns about the PAU admissions is the seat intake and the fee. The university has recently increased the seat intake for many courses but still the competition for the available seats is too high. The other concerns include fee. For some courses, the fee can be high. For that, the university provides scholarships to students. 

Placements are good, approximately 90% of students get placed. Top companies come and recruit the students. It is the top recruiting university. The highest package offered here was 7 LPA and Average package is around 2-3 LPA and good packages are offered. Roles such as marketing are offered in the agriculture course.
