AAFT University of Media And Arts BA course admission is based on candidates' performance in the last qualifying exam and a valid score in the AAFT Global Exam entrance exam. Qualified candidates must complete the admission procedure as per the admission guidelines provided by the university. Step 1: AAFT University BA Application Process 2026

The AAFT University application process is conducted in both online and offline mode. Find below the step-wise application process:

Step 1.1: Visit the official website of AAFT.

Step 1.2: On the home page, click on the 'Apply Now 2026' icon, the admission page will open with an online registration form.

Step 1.3: Candidates must now fill out the form, start by filling in the qualification section, personal information, etc.

Step 1.4: Pay the AAFT University application fee of INR 1,600 and finally submit the form.

For the offline process, candidates must collect the application form by visiting the AAFT University admission office or the AAFT University campus, Kharora. Candidates can make the appointment in advance by contacting the admission office as well.

Step 2: AAFT Global Entrance Exam

After registration and admission form submission, students must appear for the AAFT entrance exam. The exam is conducted online with an online aptitude test and after that a personal interview from AAFT Expert Desk (telephonic/video-conference/direct). For the UG & PG Diploma program applicants are required to appear for a Personal interview round from the AAFT University Expert Desk (telephonic/video-conference/direct).

Step 3: AAFT University Result Declaration

AAFT University releases the AAFT Global Entrance Exam result within 72 hours and after that, the applicant receives a selection letter based on his or her performance in the interview round.

Step 4: AAFT University Admission Letter

AAFT University sends an admission letter to those candidates who are shortlisted within three working days from the day the exam is conducted. Those who are not shortlisted will also be notified through an email/telephone call & the registration fee will get reversed (refunded) to the candidate within a stipulated period

Step 5: AAFT University Documentation Day

Once candidates receive the admission letter, a date will be fixed for verification of the documents. The selected candidate has to submit the requisite documents (Previous mark sheets, report cards, photographs, etc.) to complete the admission process and deposit the first installment fee within the stipulated timeline.

Infrastructure: The course and faculty are very good, and the learning experience is positive. I'm not a hostel user, but the hostel facility seems fine from what I have seen. The canteen food is okay. The campus provides medical and sports facilities. Everything is fine.

Good faculty members and practical exposure provided.

Placements: The placement opportunities for passing out batches in my course are not many. Most seniors got jobs through their own efforts as there are not many jobs in fine arts. The faculty members have said to provide better placement opportunities from the coming year.

Infrastructure: There are only two classrooms for fine arts department which is very few. The infrastructure of library canteens sports and other facilities is good. The quality of food in the canteen is average. There are no medical facilities available.

Faculty: Teachers in my course are really great and they provide one on one interactions to the students. The curriculum is relevant and the quality of education is good with lots of practical experience workshops and events. The semester exams are not very difficult.

Other: The good thing about my course is the faculty members and the practical exposure provided to us and the events and fests held on the campus.

The college has decent placements. Portfolio and skills matter more than placements.

Placements: Around 90% of students get internships, some paid and some unpaid. Companies include NDTV, IBC 24, MSTV, wedding companies, and event management companies. The highest package is 10 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Around 50-60% of students get placed, while the rest start their own firms or work with their close ones through their own network.

Infrastructure: The college has good Wi-Fi, clean classrooms, a nice PC room, and AC. The hostel is good with hygienic food at reasonable prices. It is near hospitals and bus stands. There are good sports and games facilities. The infrastructure is not bad but needs many upgrades. 5G and 4G connectivity are good. The library is digital, with good PCs, software, and AC.

Faculty: The college is very helpful with networking and exposure. It makes students industry-ready. The syllabus is relevant. The exams are not very difficult, and students can pass by studying the night before. The passing percentage is 40% in each semester, with minimal rigor.

Other: I love photography and am turning my hobby into a profession. The college has regular weekly events, fun fests, and provides good exposure.

Placements: AAFT Raipur placements are decent. Around 65 percent of students getting jobs. The highest package is 3.5 LPA, the lowest is 1.2 LPA, and the average is 2 LPA. Companies like Viacom18, Balaji, and TOABH Talent recruit students. Internships are also solid, with 75% getting placed in NDTV, Zee, and local studios. Roles offered include photo assistant, editor, and content creator. All good vibes.

Infrastructure: It has Wi-Fi, Mac labs, editing suites, smart classrooms, and a library. Hostel rooms are clean with good internet. Food in the mess and canteen is decent, with a mix of veg and non-veg. Medical help is available. The sports area has cricket, badminton, and a gym. Overall, the setup is good and useful.

Faculty: Teachers at B.A. Photography are helpful and knowledgeable. Most having industry experience. Teaching is hands-on with real projects. The curriculum is solid, covering basics to advanced, and makes us ready for shoots, clients, and editing. Exams are not too tough if you attend classes and submit work. The pass rate is around 85%. Overall, it is good, but you have to stay active.

Other: My batch has a mix of creative students. I chose it for my passion. The best part is hands-on shoots, gear, and mentors. I wish for more advanced workshops and better placements. The campus has fests, photo walks, good crowd, good location, scholarships, and activities that keep it lively.
