Ahmedabad University Admission 2026: Entrance Exam, Application, Fees

Ahmedabad University admissions are open. Aspirants meeting eligibility can fill out the form for the preferred course. The university offers admission in UG courses except BTech based on merit of the candidates. Admission in BTech and most of te PG programmes is entrance-based. 

Candidates do not have to pass any entrance exam for admission in UG programmes except BTech at Ahmedabad University. Such aspirants only have to meet the eligibility and wait for the admission decision. Candidates can also get admission in MMS without entrance exam based on their SOP, portfolio and performance in personal interaction.

The MBA fee at Ahmedabad University is INR 10 Lacs - INR 14 lakh. If fee is expensive, worry not apply for the scholarships available at the  Ahmedabad University. 

The total tuition fees for BBA is INR 23 lakh at Ahmedabad University. Aspirants have to pay some part of the fees at the time of admission to confirm their seat. Candidates can also apply for scholarships offered by the university for waiver in the tuition fees. 

Aspirants can get admission in Ahmedabad University after completing Class 12 in UG programmes. For all UG courses except BTech, applicants are shortlisted based on their merit. They have to wait for the decision after submitting form. Aspirants are offered admission in BTech based on their scores in JEE Main, GUJCET or any other state-level Engineering entrance exam.

Yes, Ahmedabad University accepts CAT scores for admission in MBA, MS in Finance and MS in Quantitative Finance programmes. Aspirants also need to pass a faculty interaction or PI round for final selection. The university also considers academic performance, work experience (if any) for admission.

Students with an annual family income up to INR 6 Lacs get 90%-100% tuition fee waiver in UG programmes at Ahmeabad University.  

Students must have annual family income between INR 6 Lacs and INR 15 Lacs for UG and INR 6 Lacs - INR 9 Lacs for BTech programme to get partial tuition fee waiver. 

Ahmedabad University awards Merit Scholarship to UG students from second year onwards. The scholarship is offered to students with the highest score in each course based on their academic performance. A minium 3.5 CGPA is required.
