Ahmedabad University offers a full-time BSc programme for a duration of three years. It is a comprehensive degree programme for prospective students who wish to pursue a higher degree in Sciences in India or abroad. Admission to the programme is based on a Holistic Review process that evaluates academic scores, personal interaction, personal statement and extracurricular/ co-curricular/ sports achievements of the students. The varsity also offers a five-year Integrated MSc programme with a focus on Life Sciences. Candidates, who have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with Biology as a compulsory subject, are shortlisted for the programme through a Holistic Review process. The eligibility and more details of the course are given below:

The students can have their best experience, because of its excellent education and amenities.
Placements: Around 80% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 36 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary pacakge offered is 3.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Goldman Sach, Google, Amazon, and Codenation. Almost 10-20% of students get internships in Goldman Sach, Flashtech, etc. The top roles offered are software engineer, data science engineer, DevOps, UI, UX, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are the best among the top well-known colleges. It has a central air-conditioner, and it provides the best Wi-Fi speed. It also provides laboratories, classrooms, study room, and all the sports facilities, canteen, auditorium, gym, a library, and many such facilities are provided. The new hostel facility is under construction, but it also provides the best experience.
Faculty: In this college, teachers are Ph.D. holders. They are fully qualified and have published lots of research papers. Also, their teaching quality is good and they are helpful wherever needed. The course curriculum is well designed and covers all important topics needed for our growth. Also, our university believes in project-based learning which makes students ready for the industrial world. The semester exams are well-set and cover what's necessary for students, and the passing percentage is 40%.
Other: There are many different clubs in which students can participate and get involved and also every Wednesday after 2.00 PM a lot of clubs activities are going on and at that time no lectures are arranged. Also, there are many fests organized throughout the year. One can experience the best campus life and the crowd is huge. Many talks and extra-curricular activities are arranged to motivate students.

Really satisfied, and they are very attentive. The infrastructure is excellent.
Placements: About 50 students get placed with a package of around 4 LPA for the Science course. IBM, Deloitte, etc., are some of the recruiters. I have just started. It is my first year. Quant has different flexibility. Many opportunities are provided from within and outside the university. They really start from the first year.
Infrastructure: Facilities are all excellent, really, you should try it out. The infrastructure is excellent. Everything is neat. Wi-Fi is excellent but limited to some websites. Labs are amazing, and classrooms are also excellent. The library is huge and standard. Everything is superb.
Faculty: In the 1st year, we are taught the foundation and other classes that are far from our course. Attendance is very important. 1 minute late is marked as absent, and having less than 75% leads to failing the modules. Professors are friendly and good at solving our doubts.
Other: I just want to say amazing. Events, fest, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, extracurricular activities, everything is excellent and very active.

Placements are average, but teaching is good.
Placements: Around 60% of the students got placed in 2019 from B.Tech CS department. The highest salary package offered for our course is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The top recruiting company is Amazon, and about 70% of the students got internships in companies like Amazon, Infosys and some startup companies. The top role offered is chief executive.
Infrastructure: Our college has the best facilities and infrastructure like a library, Wi-Fi and classrooms. The quality of our hostel facilities is good, but not every student likes the food served in the hostel. Medical, sports and games facilities are good. Overall, the hostel is nice.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful throughout the semester, and the teaching quality is good. Our college follows the MIT course curriculum, which is also good, and it makes students industry-ready. MIT course curriculum has some good subjects that make the course wonderful.
Other: I opted for this course because I am passionate about different things that can be done using computers and different software. I can do these things in this course, and I like to go deeper into this course. Events and extracurricular activities conducted in our college are very interesting.

Good placements, good faculty, good labs and facilities, and decent hostels.
Placements: More than 50% above average of students are placed in my course. The highest and lowest package rates are hard to calculate, as many students tend to go for higher education, from this course such as PhDs in advanced fields. Private and government research facilities are the major recruiting companies. The college also has ties with multiple prestigious universities for higher education. Around 50% of students receive internships from various companies, and many also apply for lab work under professors.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is nice. It is divided into seven buildings, each representing one field of education Science and Arts, Engineering, Social and Liberal Arts. Labs for Life Sciences are neatly kept and have up-to-date equipment and skilled assistants. Wi-Fi facility in the college is decent. The library is vast and has a well-curated selection of books to advance our knowledge in both our courses and personal interests. Hostels are clean, neat, and spacious. The food is nutritious, though it sometimes lacks taste, but that is manageable.
Faculty: Professors are adept in their respective fields and are helpful in clearing doubts when approached. The course curriculum covers the foundation of Biology and adeptly covers relevant fields. It helps by providing knowledge on every field of Biology. The difficulty of semester exams depends on courses you are taking, as introductory courses tend to have easier papers, while intermediate exams tend to have relatively higher-level questions.
Other: I chose this course because of my love for biological research and the subject of Life Sciences in general. The best thing about my course is the fact that it has a nice blend of both theory and practicals, which is essential for any science degree as it prepares us for both field and lab work. The interdisciplinary learning gives us an introduction to different courses as well, such as a science major having an economics course. Events are fun and exciting and some are even academic-related and are designed to be both fun and engaging.

No, Ahmedabad University BBA admissions are not entrance-based. The university grants admission based on Class 12 scores. Thus, while applying, students must submit the marks obtained in Class 12.
