Ahmedabad University offers admission to BTech through national/state-level entrance exam. Those who belong to Gujarat domicile can apply via a valid score of GUJCET as per the ACPC norms. Admission to candidates from outside of Gujarat is offered based on the scores of JEE Main. The university allocates 50% of seats to the JEE Main qualifiers through group counselling and the remaining 50% of seats are allocated through ACPC based on GUJCET scores to students belonging to the Gujarat domicile. 

For admission to the Ahmedabad University BTech course, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., to pass Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects or equivalent from a recognised board. Aspirants need to qualify for the respective entrance exam and fill an online application form to apply for the BTech course.
