The overall placement rate for the 2022 drive stood at 94%. As per the annual report, 97% of Engineering and 91% of Management batches were placed during 2022 placements. Ahmedabad University's placement cell offers career counselling and planning, and has career development workshops and interactions with industry leaders for its students. The cell focuses on industry engagement by conducting guest lectures, seminars, and encouraging students to take up research projects. To get admission to MBA at Ahmedabad University, students need to first have 50% aggregate in their graduation subjects, and then appear for any entrance exam accepted by the University, such as CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ MAT/ SNAP/ GRE. Students are then selected on the basis of their score on the entrance exam, Written Assessment Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI), both of which are conducted by the university itself. 

For admission to the Ahmedabad University BTech course, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., to pass Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects or equivalent from a recognised board. Aspirants need to qualify for the respective entrance exam and fill an online application form to apply for the BTech course.
