Absolutely satisfied with the campus life that AIIMS Kalyani offers.

Placements: All students undergo a mandatory rotatory internship. The amount is uniform for all AIIMS. After that, we have to give PG entrance exams to get admission in the PG branch of our choice. The payment there again varies. We get 30% internal reservations in our institution.

The infrastructure is very good, but the sports facilities need significant improvements.

Placements:  All the students of the 2022 batch are entitled to a 1-year internship of around Rs. 30,000 with an appropriate stipend, during which they learn many clinical skills and the art of medicine. After that, we are eligible to take the PG exams and pursue our careers further.

Review of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Kalyani.

Placements: There are 125 students in a batch, with a rank of 2100, score of around 700 in 2024. MBBS course is offered in college along with B.Sc. nursing. Paramedics are also there. Everyone gets internships in college after completing the final year, and then degree certification is done.

Why choose AIIMS Kalyani - All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

Placements: The total strength of a batch is 125. Everyone has to do a compulsory internship for one year after the course for which a stipend is also given. After the internship, one can practice as an MBBS doctor in any government or corporate hospital or pursue higher studies.

Overall experience in AIIMS Kalyani.

Placements: The placement thing doesn't exist in medical college. You have to do a mandatory internship of 1 year after passing the final year. In AIIMS, the stipend for the internship is 30k/month. Everyone gets a job after graduation. The average salary for a fresher ranges from 8-10 Lacs per annum. In central institutes or Delhi, it is 1.2 Lacs per month.

Good academics with great infrastructure.

Placements: 50% placement, as it is a medical college, so a compulsory internship is guaranteed. If someone doesn't get a job, it's their own choice as they opt for preparing for a PG seat. Otherwise, it's very easy to get a job as a junior doctor; if someone is a junior doctor in AIIMS, they earn a min pay of 1 lac. It varies in other state-run medical colleges; salaries of junior doctors in state-run government colleges are within 70000.

Yes, admissions are currently open at AIIMS Kalyani. Students cannot secure direct admission. Candidates who have appeared for the respective entrance exams must wait for the official cutoff list to release, after which they can register for the central counselling process.

No, students cannot get direct admission to AIIMS Kalyani. Admission to AIIMS Kalyani is strictly based on entrance exam scores. Students need to qualify for the required entrance exam along with the counselling round.
