    On Highlights
Q:   Is MBBS at AIIMs Mangalagiri better than AIIMs Delhi?
    A:

AIIMS Mangalagiri and AIIMS Delhi are prestigious institutions known for their excellence in medical education and healthcare.

AIIMS Delhi, being the pioneer and one of the oldest AIIMS institutes, has a long-established history, experienced faculty, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and a rich legacy. It offers a vast array of opportunities for clinical exposure, research, and learning experiences due to its extensive resources and renowned faculty members.

On the other hand, AIIMS Mangalagiri, being a newer AIIMS institute, might have some advantages like modern infrastructure, updated facilities, and a potentially more personalized learning environment due to smaller batch sizes and newer teaching methodologies.

Factors to consider when comparing the two could include:

    1. Faculty and Resources: AIIMS Delhi, due to its long-standing presence, might have a larger and more experienced faculty base and extensive resources compared to AIIMS Mangalagiri.

    2. Clinical Exposure: AIIMS Delhi, being in the national capital, has a diverse patient pool and numerous hospitals, providing excellent clinical exposure. AIIMS Mangalagiri, being a newer institute, might be gradually developing these aspects.

    3. Infrastructure: AIIMS Delhi has well-established infrastructure and facilities developed over the years, while AIIMS Mangalagiri might have more modern facilities and infrastructure due to being a newer institute.

    4. Opportunities for Research: Both institutes offer research opportunities, but AIIMS Delhi, with its extensive experience and resources, might have a broader spectrum of research avenues.

    5. Location and Environment: The location and surrounding environment could differ significantly between the two institutes, affecting aspects like student life and extracurricular opportunities.

Q:   How many students can do a MBBS at AIIMs Mangalagiri?
    A:

The number of seats available for the MBBS programme at AIIMS Mangalagiri, like other AIIMS institutes, was subject to change on an annual basis and depended on the decision made by the government and the institution's administration.

AIIMS institutes generally have a specific number of seats allocated for the MBBS program, which includes seats for Indian nationals and a certain number of seats reserved for foreign nationals or overseas citizens. The number of seats for Indian nationals is further categorized based on reservation policies for different categories such as General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PwD as per government norms.

Q:   What is the closing rank in the NEET UG for an MBBS at AIIMS Mangalagiri?

The fastest growing AIIMS in India.
Placements: There are 125 students in one batch. They are qualified via the NEET exam. It's a 5.5-year course, with a 1-year internship, a high qualification rate for PG seats, and a reservation in the same college. They provide many opportunities to do research on various topics during the course.
Infrastructure: The college has high-quality infrastructure. The college provides Wi-Fi, centralized AC, single room for girls and boys in their final year. The college has a 24/7 library, a gym facility, a ground, indoor game facility, etc. They conduct annual fests. The college has an auditorium, centralized in OPD and IPD. The college has an excellent lecture theatre.
Faculty: The college has top-notch faculty members. They are from JIPMER. Other teachers are from top AIIMS. We have an NMC-based curriculum, with autonomous exams. The exams are moderate. There is often a heavy burden of exams. They conduct part completion tests, mid-semester, prefinal, and final professional exams.
Other: It's a still developing college, but most of the infrastructure is completed. AIIMS is developing very fast.

Well-developed tertiary health care center with an amazing infrastructure, academics, and facilities
Placements: MBBS doesn't have placements or discussions about packages. But PG selection is great with people studying PG in other INIs and top institutes. Great reputation all over the country to secure jobs. Other factors as mentioned above do not apply to MBBS graduates.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available. Great furnished hostel rooms, 24/7 library, air-conditioned classrooms, labs, hospital, and library are available. Food quality is also good. Canteen is available. Lots of sports facilities such as basketball ground, tennis court, TT tables, ground for cricket and other sports available. Campus is well-maintained.
Faculty: Highly qualified top faculty of the country. Teachers are knowledgeable and skilled. As the institute is autonomous INI's curriculum is top in the country. Semester exams are tougher than other MBBS colleges and exposure in clinicals is also excellent. Pass percentage is 50%.
Other: The college also has lots of fests and events going on early around, the college surroundings are beautiful as it is located in between Mangalagiri hills. Various clubs are present on the campus for students to join and take part in extracurricular activities.

The best thing I have done in my life is choose AIIMS Mangalagiri.
Placements: I am Anudeep from the 2023 batch of AIIMS Mangalagiri. In my course, there is nothing like the highest package. I think radiologists will earn more. The top role in my course is HOD or a private practitioner with high respect. There are no recruiting companies for doctors.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are top-notch. We have free Wi-Fi all over the campus. Hostel room facilities are good, with 2 people per room, but the washrooms are not good. The mess (North Mess) is something I don't like. The canteen is average. Medical facilities are excellent. Sports and games are improving day by day. I think it will be awesome in the upcoming 2 years.
Faculty: Teachers are awesome, but we don’t always listen to their classes. The course curriculum is relevant, and we will be the best doctors after completing the internship in the whole state. Semester exams are very hard. At first, they don’t let you pass. They intentionally give fewer marks in internals. But they are friendly during the final exams. The pass percentage is 60% in internals and 85% in finals.
Other: I want to serve my country. The best thing about my course is that no amount of money can buy the satisfaction we get when we save a patient. Events are improving, but fests are not as great as in other engineering colleges. I love my campus. There is so much greenery. The campus is between hills.

A brief review about AIIMS Mangalagiri.
Placements: The course as such doesn't offer any placements but it is good for those who want to prepare for PG as time is there. There is adequate patient exposure for students to learn during postings and things are often taught with interest for those who want to learn, having this exposure helps students in their medical careers nicely.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the hostel but available in the classrooms and hospital which are both with central AC facility. The infrastructure is good as it is a new college. The hostel rooms are double-shared but there is no AC facility, food is contact-based and depends on the vendors but is okay.
Faculty: The faculty has good knowledge and can guide you very well in aspects of research. Although most of the learning is self-directed, they are of good help to those who approach them for any doubts to be clarified. There are top faculty in surgery and other departments who have degrees that you can not even remember.

Better hands-on training than other colleges.
Placements: Depending upon your interest, you can join as a non-academic PG after your MBBS completion depending on the post available. But better you should prepare well for your post-graduation entrance exam or you can start with your USMLE journey right from your 2nd professional year and go on your right career path. Other option you can choose is to try for civil services through the UPSC exam.
Infrastructure: Quality of facilities is good. You are provided with a shared room during your UG life and need to shift to a single room in the PG hostel during your internship. 24X7 library facilities are provided with an ample amount of books, online books, and research sources.
Faculty: Great faculty members from all over the country. The quality of teaching is good with hands-on training in various disciplines. Other advanced labs are coming up in the near future. Pass percentage is good. Quality of exams is moderately tough but up to the mark.

    Overview of AIIMS Mangalagiri.
Placements: Placements are done based on the score of NEET PG or INI CET exams. PG seats are available in a decent amount in each department and the stipend is also above average (I don't have the exact idea). Reservation for some college students is quite low but may be increased in the near future.
Infrastructure: The campus is well maintained at all times and the college and hospital buildings are AC-ventilated and cleaned on a daily basis. Trees are grown and groomed on the sidewalks which makes the campus look peaceful and pollution-free. Hostel rooms are well maintained but washrooms need to be more taken care of.
Faculty: Teachers are assigned from a variety of institutions which provides a diverse learning environment to the students. The system of rotation of professors between different AIIMS institutes is worthy to be pointed out as this provides the students with the opportunity to experience as many diverse teaching methods as possible.
Other: The campus is beautiful with greenery but it still needs to have a few more things added like a gym, cricket ground, more sports facilities, etc.
