Admission to AIIMS is based on the NEET Exam. The steps for seeking admission are as follows:

AIIMS Nagpur placement report for 2024 has not been released. However, some of the students have disclosed the placement statistics on Shiksha students' review page. As per the Shiksha students' reviews, the the highest package offered over the past few years of placements was between INR 10 LPA and INR 12 LPA. Further, the AIIMS Nagpur average package offered in recent placements was between INR 6 LPA and INR 7 LPA. The the lowest package offered was INR 2 LPA. The answer will be both yes and no. Candidates can enrol at AIIMS Nagpur with out NEET for various courses such as BSc, MSc, MD etc. Admission to all these courses is either subject to an institute-specific entrance exam or INICET.

However, if the ultimate objective is to crack AIIMS New Delhi for MBBS, a student has to go through the NEET UG entrance exam followed by the counselling process. Admission to the BSc course at AIIMS Nagpur is based on AIIMS paramedical exam. Candidates wiill have to register for the exam and then appear for the entrance exam. It is on the basis of the marks obtained in the AIIMS paramedical entrance exam that candidates can further participate in the counselling. AIIMS will also release a cutoff which will indicate if candidate qualify to participate in the counselling.

To get into AIIMS Nagpur, candidates need to score between 395 and 429, as per the AIIMS Nagpur INICET cutoff 2024 for the General AI category candidates. So, It is quite possible to get into the institute with 400 rank. However, candidates can get admission only for MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology with this rank.

The NeXT Exam is conducted in two separate segments knows as ‘Steps’ in the online mode. The NExT Step 1 is a theoretical examination consisting of six papers. NExT Step 2 is a Practical / Clinical and Viva Voce examination covering seven clinical subjects or disciplines. The qualifying cutoff marks in NExT Step 1 will be calculated as whole number which will be considered as a Raw Scores with appropriate decimals and subsequently corresponding Percentages. The AIIMS Nagpur cutoff 2024 was 601 for General AI students for admission to B.Sc. in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology. According to experts, scoring 160+ marks in INI CET exam is considered good. Candidates who score 160+ have chance to get good college for PG courses. Scoring marks also depends on difficulty level of the question paper. INI CET 2024 question paper was moderate to difficult. More than 180 questions were easy to attempt.
