Yes, it is quite hard to get admission to AIMS as the cutoff is very high for securing a seat in AIMS. The score should be around 700 out of 720 to secure admission to AIMS. The admission criteria are strictly based on the score of the NEET exam. The Institute is also ranked as the Institute of National Importance. The candidates after giving the NEET Exam need to check the merit list of the college and after clearing the exam the candidates are required to pay the counselling fees and then they are eligible for counselling. After, the counseling rounds candidates can secure their seats by paying the fees.

The answer will be both yes and no. Candidates can enrol at AIIMS Nagpur with out NEET for various courses such as BSc, MSc, MD etc. Admission to all these courses is either subject to an institute-specific entrance exam or INICET.

However, if the ultimate objective is to crack AIIMS New Delhi for MBBS, a student has to go through the NEET UG entrance exam followed by the counselling process. Admission to the BSc course at AIIMS Nagpur is based on AIIMS paramedical exam. Candidates wiill have to register for the exam and then appear for the entrance exam. It is on the basis of the marks obtained in the AIIMS paramedical entrance exam that candidates can further participate in the counselling. The AIIMS Nagpur Paramedical cutoff 2024 for the B.Sc. courses at the undergraduate level has been released for Round 3. The AIIMS Nagpur cutoff 2024 was 601 for General AI students for admission to B.Sc. in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology. AIIMS Nagpur placement report for 2024 has not been released. However, some of the students have disclosed the placement statistics on Shiksha students' review page. As per the Shiksha students' reviews, the the highest package offered over the past few years of placements was between INR 10 LPA and INR 12 LPA. Further, the AIIMS Nagpur average package offered in recent placements was between INR 6 LPA and INR 7 LPA. The the lowest package offered was INR 2 LPA. To get into AIIMS Nagpur, candidates need to score between 395 and 429, as per the AIIMS Nagpur INICET cutoff 2024 for the General AI category candidates. So, It is quite possible to get into the institute with 400 rank. However, candidates can get admission only for MS in Obstetrics and Gynecology with this rank.
