If candidates are applying for BTech at AKS University through lateral entry, then they will have to commit to a three-year-long programme with the course material spanning over six semesters. Candidates who have a polytechnic diploma can apply for the lateral entry BTech.

Candidates need to have a polytechnic diploma in the same specialisation as the BTech specialisation that they want to apply. If candidates want to apply for BTech without lateral entry, then they’ll have to commit to a four-year-long course which spans over eight semesters.

The BTech programme at AKS University is four years long with course material that spans over eight semesters. If candidates are taking lateral admission into any specialisation of the programme, then the length of the course is three years (i.e. six semesters). Candidates have to complete the credit requirement in all the semesters to obtain the degree.

AKS University BTech offers 18 specialised courses. Candidates can choose any course of their choice and take admission, some of the popular courses are Computer Science Engineering, Biotechnology, Mining Engineering, etc.

AKS University admissions are primarily entrance-based. The university considers CUET-UG and CUET-PG score for admission to most of the UG and PG programmes. For PhD, AKS conducts an entrance exam for shortlisting candidates. Selected candidates who have qualified CUET and CUET-PG are required to participate in the exam counselling. For PhD, aspirants need to participate in the university-level counselling followed by document verification. 

According to the latest updates provided by NTA, CUET registrations will start in the last week of February and go on till April 2025. Yes, if you want to apply for BSc at AKS University you have to appear for the CUET-UG exam. Candidates must secure a valid CUET-UG entrance exam as the selection criteria for the BSc programme is set according to the results of the CUET entrance exam.

CUET exam dates are out and the registrations for the CUET-UG will start in the last week of February. The exam date is between May – June tentatively. Candidates should keep checking the website for any updates regarding the same.

The total tuition fees for AKS University BSc are INR 84,000 to INR 4.4 lakh. The range depends on the course chosen by the candidate as the duration and requirements of each course are different. Candidates also get merit scholarships as fee waivers as per the course or merit they have secured.

The tuition fees are exclusive of additional costs incurred while studying at the university, such as hostel fees, registration fees, extramural costs etc. Students have to pay the whole tuition fees over six to eight semesters as per the requirements of the course.
