If candidates are applying for BTech at AKS University through lateral entry, then they will have to commit to a three-year-long programme with the course material spanning over six semesters. Candidates who have a polytechnic diploma can apply for the lateral entry BTech.

Candidates need to have a polytechnic diploma in the same specialisation as the BTech specialisation that they want to apply. If candidates want to apply for BTech without lateral entry, then they’ll have to commit to a four-year-long course which spans over eight semesters.

Not all the courses of AKS University requires MAT appearence as an eligibility criteria for admission. While only MBA partially requires a MAT assesment, B.Tech, Polytechnic, B.Sc, M. Tech, and B.A. does not require so, but they do have other eligibility criterias. For MBA it is not even mandatory, one can also get admitted to the degree through other competitive exams like CUET PG.
