 The best branch for B.Tech can be considered as B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. It is a very demanding course in the market, so this gives an edge to nice placements. The fee for the course is INR 3.56 Lakhs for the 4-year course. The university offers 90 seats for the course. Admission is based on the rank obtained in JEE Mains.

Students should pass the class 12th examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate. The New town Government College was also named Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam college. The college is located in New Town, Kolkata. Its a public university. AKU is established in year 2014, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam College for this academic session 2023-24 has started the online application process for UG first Semester Admission 2023-24. Applicants should be aware that the college does not conduct any admission tests and that admission is based on merit.
