Oriental University B.Ed admissions are Merit-Based. Candidates have to register themselves at the online portal with relevant information and documents, to get considered for admission at Oriental University B.Ed.

Oriental University provides Merit based admission in its B.Ed Course. The candidate must have passed UG or PG in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for General and OBC, and 45% aggregate marks for SC and ST.

For candidates, who graduated with BTech/B.E or any other equivalent degree with Science and Maths, the minimum passing aggregate should be 55% for General and OBC and 50% for SC and ST.

The candidate need to register themselves on the online admission portal, for them to be considered for admission.

The University offers 100% placement assistance to its students. As per the official brochure, 886 placements were made during the academic year 2024-25. The total seats at Oriental University for BTech are cumulative of seats among various BTech streams and specialisations offered at the university. The university has over 240 seats for BTech. There are 60 seats each for BTech in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
