The admission criteria for Diploma in Agriculture at Anand Agricultural University for reserved category students are as follows:
Candidates who have passed SSC (Xth Std.) examination with English as a compulsory subject are eligible for admission.
The admission requirements shall be relaxed by a maximum of five per cent for an employee of the University nominated for Master and Doctorate study from other SAUs/Institutes of Gujarat as well as employees nominated by State/Central Government or ICAR and candidates having three years' experience.
A candidate availing benefit of seats earmarked for the categories shall be required to produce the certificate of his belonging to a particular group i.e. ST/SC/SEBC etc., from a competent authority of Gujarat State.
The candidates belonging to SEBC should produce the "Non-creamy layer certificate" in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority of the Gujarat State with validity as per the resolution No. SSP/122015/455246/A Dt. 26/04/2016 issued by the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, failing which, the candidate will not be considered against reserved seats for SEBC category.
Reservation for SC / ST / SEBC Candidates:
Scheduled Caste (SC): 7%
Scheduled Tribe (ST): 15%
Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC): 27%
