4 years wasted in mining engineering at JNCT. Don't take admission before reading this.
Placements: If you are aiming for a placement, don't come here. I'm telling you the truth, the mining branch has the worst placement report. The highest package is 5 LPA and the average is 3 LPA. There is no such industry exposure for the students. It is very hard to get an internship in the mining branch, if you have any personal connections, you might get an internship or a job. 30 percent of students got placed and others wandered around local builders. Recruiters like Sidharth Construction hire freshers with low salaries as supervisors only. If your goal is a government job or higher studies, you might come.
Infrastructure: JNCT College is not fully developed, it has its own land but there are no buildings. Though the current situation of existing buildings is not good, they are not being maintained. Wi-Fi is only available in academic buildings. For the mining department, there is no advanced lab for practice, classrooms are not yet upgraded, the library has no new edition books, and students have to bring their own expenses. Mess food is hygienic and students prefer to stay in PG with charges of Rs. 3,000- Rs. 5,000 per month with food. Basic sports facilities are available but no clubs are run by students.
Faculty: No doubt faculty members are M.Tech and Ph.D. holders but the college has no such facilities to implement their knowledge. Mining survey, blasting, machinery like basic are taught in 4 years but there is no case study related to this organised, so it's a demerit. To get placement, you have to skill yourself in a non-core field. For internal marks of 40, you have to maintain good relations with specific teachers. However you have to maintain a 75 percent attendance system. My personal suggestion would be, don't fully depend on college, try to make some connections in the market by hook or crook.
Other: If you are looking for a low budget college, it's for you but not so friendly. Let's break down, Rs. 50,000 is tuition fees, some extra expenses like Rs. 5,000 for exams, Rs. 1,000 for Wi-Fi, Rs. 25,000 for bus, Rs. 5,000 for books are applied, which were not mentioned per year. You can manage this by getting scholarships of at least Rs. 20,000 minimum. If you want admission here, you can get in through JEE or MPDTE. No events and fests are scheduled on campus, no entertainment nothing. I chose this college and this branch because I had no other option. My opinion is not to come here for placement purposes.

I am very proud of my college because it provides good infrastructure and quality education.
Placements: Students who score above 80% in the 12th class get seats in this course. The average package for this course is 5LPA. In APS University, the top recruiting companies are ICICI Bank, SBI Bank, etc. Above 30% of students got placements. Top role offered are HR, finance, etc.
Infrastructure: In APSU, the department infrastructure is very good. We have many facilities like Wi-Fi and labs. Every classroom is of best quality. We also have library, canteen and medical facilities. Sports and games are also held. Quality food is available in hostel and is very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified and knowledge. They teach very well. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is very good as it is about 70% to 90%.
Other: I chose the BBA department in APS University because I want to be a well professional person and have bright future. The teaching and infrastructure quality can be improved. The surroundings of the college are good.

Almost, the college is good. Little need to make the infrastructure better.
Placements: 50% of students got placed in my college. Most of the students received an average package of 3 LPA, while the highest package was 6 LPA last year. The top recruiting companies were HDFC, Mahindra, and ICICI Bank. Last year, 50 students got internships at Rs. 20,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our department facilities, such as the library, internet service, digital library, well-maintained labs, and furnished classrooms, etc., are good. The boys' hostel is decent, and there is strong student support 24/7. Medical support for the sports complex is available, which has all kinds of indoor and outdoor sports.
Faculty: Teachers and qualified faculty members have all done their masters and PhDs from reputed colleges. Teachers are very friendly and helpful with both academic and social life issues. The course prepares you for industry readiness.
Other: BBA is a professional course that makes your personality very attractive, so I chose this course.

Good academically but infrastructure is not very good.
Placements: Almost 100 percent of the students get placed in CHC and PHC. The highest package is 25 LPA, and the lowest is 7.2 LPA. Apollo Health Care is the top recruiter. 100 percent of the students get internships at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital, Rewa. The top roles are medical officer and senior resident.
Infrastructure: The construction is old, and hostels are not good. The college building is old and unclean. The college is equipped with CCTV cameras and smart classrooms. There are large conference halls and demonstration rooms to accommodate 200 people. The college does not have any outdoor sports facility.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and among the best in their field. Teaching quality is also good. The course is very effective and makes students ready to handle real-world scenarios, including complex medical emergencies and patient care. Overall, it is great.
Other: This is my dream course. The best part of the course is the practical application of knowledge and helping people.

Just a fine college if you want to do work without competition.
Placements: The chances of direct campus placement from here are very low. The college is not advanced enough to collaborate with big tech companies. There's no proper environment for such things. The options here are limited, like you can't opt for advanced things like machine learning here.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are very basic here and not maintained on a regular basis. There's no Wi-Fi for students, and on top of that, the internet connectivity inside the college is very poor. For a Computer Science college, this is very bad, and even inside the computer lab, the LAN connection they are offering provides very slow speed (like 0.5 Mbps) in 2026.
Faculty: Teachers here are usually fine. The faculty is limited but enough for the students they admit each year. Most new teachers here come for experience or a type of internship while they are on their Ph.D. The environment here feels more like a school and not a college.
Other: I hadn't chosen this college. I got it via Madhya Pradesh DTE, and I had no other option but to accept the joining letter. So, if you are looking for a college, then I'd suggest getting a college in Bhopal or somewhere else. The college doesn't have its own hostel, and the area around the college is not that developed and has no PG accommodations anywhere around the whole area.

For my college, according to that place, it is not that much good.
Placements: Approximately 60 percent of students were placed. The highest package was 72,000 and the lowest was 12,000. Very less students got internships. Recruitment is done by educational institutions only; no companies come on campus. You can go for interviews and job-related enquiries to other places. Top roles are for teaching lines.
Infrastructure: Lab is available in the college and we attend lab class every Tuesday, but the lab condition is not that good to do practicals there as there are no safety measures. Classes were also not in good condition. There is a high need for maintenance of benches, fans, doors, blackboard etc. The smart classroom is a little bit in good condition.
Faculty: Teachers are taking proper lectures but only on alternate days for the lectures, and they are not that supportive. Some teachers are good and will support, but most of the teachers are very bad; they will talk to you in a very bad manner. Most of the courses that the college provides are not relevant to jobs, so we cannot get a job outside with this education. Our exams are also very difficult because they don’t provide lecture classes on a regular basis, so exams are very difficult for students.
Other: I am a student of the COVID batch, so I didn’t give many exams like semester exams or something like that. I gave only the final year exam, which was very difficult for all of us because we didn’t attend many classes or lectures of our course, so the exam was very difficult for us.
