Earlier, the 2023 placements session concluded with 100% of the students placed. A total of 146 recruiters participated and selected 351 students. 1. Special Merit Scholarhips (50)
Under this scholarship, 100% tuition fee waiver is offered to 50 exceptional achievers in JEE Main, IISER (IAT), CMI and INO. The qualifying criteria is mentioned below:
- Minimum 98 percentile in JEE Main
- Top 2,000 rank in IISER Aptitude Test
- Top 100 rank in CMI Entrance Examination
- Candidates who have qualified for the Training Camp stage of the Indian National Olympiads (INO) in Mathematics, Science, Astronomy, Linguistics and Informatics

Yes, Ashoka University offers two types of scholarships, namely Need-Based Financial Aid Philosophy and Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship, to its students. The financial aid given by Ashoka University is assessed solely on the basis of your family’s financial standing. It is not based on scholastic merit, sports qualifications, parent’s occupation or any non-financial factors. The merit cum means scholarship is offered to exceptional undergraduate students intending to major in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics or Computer Science at Ashoka.
Ashoka University offers Merit Cum Means scholarship for exceptional Undergraduate students intending to major in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics or Computer Science at Ashoka. A total of 25 scholarships will be awarded in addition to the need based financial aid available to all students, of which 5 of candidates will receive a waiver of 100% on tuition fee and residence, and remaining 20 will receive a waiver of 100% on tuition fee. Candidates can refer to the steps below to apply for Merit Cum Means scholarship:
- Candidates shortlisted based on the cut-offs will receive an invitation to apply for the Merit Scholarship.
- As a part of the scholarship application, candidates will be required to submit a form with a Statement Of Purpose (SOP), along with the latest Income Tax Return of their parents/guardian. This application form will be open for 5 days.
- Candidates will be further shortlisted by a scholarship committee based on the caliber of their SOP and family income analysis. Those that make the short list at this point could also have to show up for an in-person interview with the committee.
- Depending on how well they perform overall during the selection process, successful candidates will either earn a 100% tuition fee waiver or a 100% tuition and residence waiver.

Ashoka University accepts admission to the BA course through Entrance test conducted by the university itself i.e., Ashoka Assesment Test. Candidates must have passed class 12 to register for the entrance test.
