Q: Can I get direct admission to Bahra University?

Bahra University offers entrance-based admission to BTech. Applicants looking admission to BTech are required to appear in JEE exam. But if candidate haven't taken any entrance exam, university recommend taking the Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam for admisison. STEP 3: Merit List and Admission Confirmation

Absolutely stratified because of its good environment, faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: 80% of students got placed. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest package was 2.5 LPA. The top roles offered are in marketing and sales. The top recruiting companies are Jaro Education, Just Dial, Tommy Hilfiger, IDFC First Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank and many more.

Infrastructure: The college has a central library, Wi-Fi and an IT lab. Hostel facilities are good. They also provide good food, and the main thing is that the mess is very neat and clean. Medical facilities are available on campus. Festivals are also celebrated in the hostel.

Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable and highly educated. Their teaching style is very good. The teaching quality is very good because teachers are highly motivating. The course curriculum is relevant. It definitely makes the students ready for the corporate world.

Other: There should be more curricular activities held on the campus, and there should also be more events and fests. There should be many industrial visits for BBA and MBA students.

It is one of the best universities in Himachal Pradesh, with a mixture of work and pleasure.

Placements: Almost 85% of the students got placed in MBA. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Byju's, Jaro Education, Justdial, Tommy Hilfiger, IDFC First Bank and many others. Top roles are offered in sales and marketing.

Infrastructure: There was a central library, Wi-Fi and IT lab. Hostel facilities were good. They also provide housekeeping, and the mess was clean and provided good food. Medical facilities were also provided. Festivals were also celebrated in the hostel to give a homely feel to hostlers.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant and industry-based. Our department HOD is very kind and also encourages students. Management faculty members are well-experienced and cooperative.

Other: There should be more industrial visits for management students.

Our college provides good faculty members and infrastructure facilities.

Placements: Around 10% of the students got placed from the university. The highest salary package offered in our course was 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Asian paints, Flipkart, SRVA Education, Tommy Hilfiger, and Calvin Klein. Almost 65% of the students got internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good as there are proper facilities of Wi-Fi for 24 hours and library. You need not purchase books from outside. Even the library in charge is very cooperative and in the classroom, we have good and proper facilities of smart class.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and supportive. If you ask anything they will give time to you and solve your queries on time. Not many students are ready for industry to work in, but 80 to 85 % of the students are ready to work. The exams are application based mostly, and the pass percentage is 35% in exams.

Other: I opted for this course because I like to work in the industry and to do something different from others. As I have done B.Com earlier, so I don't want to go with M.Com. After joining M. B.A. I realised that it's a different thing. I wanted to reduce my stage fair and become more and more interactive.

The campus has a good and valuable atmosphere for studies.

Placements: The university is really concerned about students. One who is dedicated to their future and wants a job opportunity in life while pursuing a degree from Bahra, the university will always be there for students.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities are really good. It usually depends upon the management of the university. Mess management is a point of worry there, and nothing else. So, one must go and analyse the best years at Bahra University.

Faculty: The faculty members are above my expectations. They are qualified, knowledgeable and helpful. The course is relevant. If one can get such teachers, nothing is difficult to achieve.

Other: I chose this course because I thought I was stuck after B.Tech. There must be some other activities included in university like fest, night fest, tours and trips. That was missing in my batch.

Other: The University does not have good faculty, they don't take any lectures especially in the second year i.e. 3rd and 4th semester. The fee charged for hostels is also high, and the campus selections are just nominal and people get jobs with pay of 12 to 15000. Don’t have any good library for Management studies. They focus heavily on fee etc., Suggest not to join MBA, as my ward studied MBA and struggled a lot to get into a job.

It is nice to study and live in the lap of nature.

Placements: 20% of the students out of the total were open for Placement. The highest package offered was 9 LPA, the lowest was 1.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Edtech, and were from Gurgaon, Noida, Bangalore, Chandigarh, and Mohali. Roles offered were HR, IT, Finance, etc.

Infrastructure: A classroom with projectors, a proper sitting arrangement, and a separate library was available. Hostel, mess, canteen, around every department. The quality of food was normal, the hostels were on a sharing basis, double, triple sharing, with a gym area allotted.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful and cooperative in every work. There are events and conclaves organized in the university, in which teachers offer different roles to different students based on the area of interest and the skills students already have.

Other: The batch included students from diverse areas of different states and districts.
