In addition to the regular MBA course, HPU also offers a two-year MBA through the International Centre for Distance Education and Open Learning. Candidates who have passed a bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST candidates) can apply for the MBA distance education mode. HPU MBA admission is entrance-based.
HPU Shimla conducts the Himachal Pradesh University MBA Aptitude Test or HPU MAT for candidates interested in pursuing MBA courses offered by the institute. This state-level exam is conducted by this NAAC-accredited 'A' Grade University to select students for admission to MBA programme. Interested candidates can check below HPU MBA eligibility criteria:

STEP 2: Entrance Exam
Himachal Pradesh University conducts HPU MAT for selecting candidates for MBA programme. HPU MAT is an objective-type test consisting of multiple-choice questions.
