Faculty is helpful and knowledgeable, the fees are reasonable, but placements are poor.
Placements: One of the weaknesses of this college is its placement support. In the name of placement, it provides very little. There is no dedicated placement cell or organized placement activities. Most students have to find opportunities on their own, and nearly half of the students opt for higher studies. Only a few companies, which can be counted on fingers, offer placements. They provide packages of 2 LPA to 3 LPA in cities like Ahmedabad. Don't join this college for the sake of placements.
Infrastructure: The college does not provide hostel facilities itself. Most students are from Gir Somnath, and those who are not live in PG accommodations (mostly costing Rs. 4,000- Rs. 5,000 per month) or in shared flats (5-6 students per flat). A few students live in a government hostel called Samras Hostel, but it is merit-based, and only the toppers of the batch or school can stay there. The college does not have a canteen. Most students don't attend regularly. They only come when exams are approaching.
Faculty: The only good thing about this college is faculty. They are very helpful, and if you ask your doubts politely, they explain everything without getting frustrated. Most of them are knowledgeable, with some holding Ph.D. degrees and being well-qualified, although a few new staff members are not as experienced. Semester exams are mostly easy to pass. Many students studying just one night before the exam. However, scoring above a 9 GPA is quite difficult.
Other: The reason I chose this college was simply because it is located near my house. The fees are also affordable due to scholarships from the government. One drawback is the assignments. They are mostly practical and purely theory-based. Most students end up copying from each other. I would definitely like to see improvement in this area. There is also no real campus life here, which is a huge setback for some students.

There is no placement and no college life, satisfied only because of quality of professors.
Placements: It is one of the weaknesses of this college. In the name of placement, they provide nothing. There is no placement cell or any placement activity. Most students have to find opportunities by themself only, and half of the students opt for higher studies. Few companies that you can count on fingers in the name of placement. They hire students at 2 LPA - 3 LPA offers in city like Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Vadodara, and Surat. Don't ever join this college for the sake of placement. Almost more than half of the student's do not get any job offer.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility provided by the college itself. Most of the students are from nearby villages only, and those who are not from PG (mostly 3,000 - 5,000 per month). Others live in shared flats (5-6 students per flat), and few live in government hostel called Samras hostel, but it is merit based only toppers of batch or school can live there. There is no canteen in the college itself. College is located in the village called Ghusiya so you will not find any eating outlets or any food options nearby. There is no Wi-Fi available.
Faculty: The only good thing about this college is the faculty. They are very helpful. If you ask your doubts politely, they explain everything without getting frustrated. Most of them are knowledgeable, with some being Ph.D. holders and well qualified, though a few new staff members are not as experienced. Semester exams are mostly easy to pass, with many students studying just one night before the exam. However, scoring above a 9 GPA is quite difficult.
Other: The reason I chose this college is simply because it is located near my village and fees are also affordable because you get scholarships from the government. One drawback is the assignments. Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty but good placements in 2022.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course is 89%. The top recruiting company for our course is Tata Chemicals. The highest package is 3 lakh, and the lowest is Rs.20,000. Around 70% of students get internships from our course. The top role offered in our course is Chartered Accountant.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library are available. The quality is very good. The library is big, the hostel is big, and there are good sports. The ground is very big and good, we all play there every day. The college staff is also helpful because they are really good. My college is very good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not difficult, and the passing is 80%.

It is the best college for the best students.
Placements: This college is really good, and up to 2000 students enroll in B.Com course and according to my course, 2 package course are offered one is IT and the second is HRM first. One is a high-price course and the second one is low. Opportunities are big. More than 1,000 companies hire students from our course like IT company, etc. There are really good roles for us like accountant at a high level, secretary business, and development.
Infrastructure: Our college is secondly known for the hostel because it provides good food and cleaning is also good. Security is handled well here. The people working are good and responsible. All things are good.
Faculty: In my college days, teachers were really good. They have good teaching methods. They make us confident and proud. They taught us how to be in the real world compatible with thought. They helped us in clarifying our goals and how to be strong and knowledgeable.

My college review.
Placements: Around 65% of students got placed from our course. The highest salary package offered is about 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, and some foreign companies like OpenAI, etc. Around 70% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: Our college has the best classrooms with air conditioning and also has the best library with an integrated lab and Wi-Fi connectivity. Hostel of our college is composed of both male and female with the best quality food and other facilities which make it the best hostel.
Faculty: Our college faculty members are so experienced and have the best teaching skills, which makes them special. In our college, there are lots of extracurricular activities like playing games and so on. Our semester exams are held every 6 months. Exams have a total of 60 marks. Passing marks are 24.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) - Batch of 2024
Offered by Brahmanand College of Science

Review of Brahmanand College of Science.
Placements: I have completed my B.Sc. in nursing from Brahmanand College of Nursing. My batch passed out in 2024. Since we are paramedical staff, we have 3 options after completing B.Sc. nursing: 1. further studies M.Sc.; 2. work as a tutor in a nursing college; and 3. join as nursing staff in a hospital. Our college gives us only placement as a nursing tutor in our own college. So there are not many placements that I can write about. About my batch placement: Many of my batchmates are doing M.Sc., and a few of us joined the hospital as nursing staff. Out of 50 students, 5 of us joined as tutors in our own college. Package: The highest is 30000 (joined as nursing staff in a government hospital). The lowest is, I guess, 10000 (nursing tutor). There is no official recruitment.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Hostels are not that good. And hostel food is bad. Food is really bad; for example, once they made shiro (a sweet dish) and added salt by mistaking it for suger. There is a water cooler for the whole college, so too much crowd during the 15-minute break. There are 3 toilets, one on every floor (3-floored college). There are projectors in all classes, but only a few of them are working properly. White boards to teach. Old desk. About fun activities: Other is no such thing as fun activities. Other is only 1 function that they do in the whole year, which is another ceremony for 1st year students. We (students) plan sports week every year, but the principal doesn't allow us to have some fun.
Faculty: There are only a few teachers who are actually good at teaching. Many of them have studied there. Exams are not that difficult; if you study one week before the exams, you can pass them for sure. There are a total 8 semesters in B.Sc. nursing. So there are 8 semester exams in addition; other are term exams that are conducted just before semester exams, so a total 16 important exams. They conduct term exams to give you internal marks on the basis of your score in term exams, but trust me, if you are nutritious or don't follow every rule of college, they will give you order line internal marks even if you score the highest in a term exam in your class.
