Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University conducts entrance exams for admission to B.Ed, M.Ed and PhD programmes. The university conducts PhD Entrance Test or PET in online/ offline mode. The test includes General and subject-specific papers. Candidates with a valid score in UGC-NET, UGC-CSIR, GATE, GSET and similar national-level tests can also apply for a PhD. B.Ed Entrance Test is divided into two sections with the first section the same for all the students.
Bhakta Kavi Narsinh Mehta University is primarily merit-based. However, the university conducts entrance exams for admission to B.Ed, M.Ed and PhD programmes. Entrance exam is not mandatory for admission to B.Ed and M.Ed programmes. For all other courses, the selection is based on the qualifying exam scores of the candidates. Once selected, aspirants may further need to pass a personal interview round for some of the programmes.
