Decent academics and faculty, but average infrastructure and placement.
Placements: 50 percent of boys and girls got placed. A student claims that almost 40 percent of the students got placed in their course. There are many companies like FCI and Tata that visit our college. On a placement-summary site, a placement report 2023 for Sindri College shows 50 students placed, 50 offers, and 12 companies visited. The highest package was 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Smart classrooms, library, laboratories, and campus facilities are available. The B.Com department at Sindri College has basic and functional infrastructure. Classrooms are spacious and have adequate seating but most of them follow a traditional setup without smart boards. The college provides Wi-Fi but the connectivity is not always consistent across all blocks.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful to us. The teachers in the B.Com department are qualified and knowledgeable in their subjects. Most faculty members have strong academic backgrounds and explain concepts clearly. They are approachable, helpful, and willing to guide students with doubts, exam preparation, and assignments.
Other: My batch is from 2023-2027 I chose this course for accounting. I chose this course because I've always been interested in understanding how things work and wanted a field that combines strong theoretical knowledge with practical, real-world applications. This course also offers good career opportunities, diverse roles, and the chance to develop industry-relevant skills. The curriculum aligns well with my interests and long-term career goals.

College has great teachers.
Placements: 50% of students passed, and the rest got back in one subject. The highest package is only 8.9 LPA, and the lowest is 2.3 LPA. There is no campus selection process. No internship, nothing happens here. There are no selection offers because it is a graduation college, not an engineering college.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel in our college. Since there is no hostel, there is no mess, no Wi-Fi, nothing. As I told you, it is a normal college for those who want a degree, not experience. If you want a degree and an affordable college, you might consider this college.
Faculty: They teach us in a good way so that students understand all the things. The semester exam in college is easy. There are no teachers for our courses. We don't have a Chemistry teacher in our college, so we have to learn by ourselves. The percentage of passing is around 33%, but they don't give marks to the students. They cut a lot of marks. I don't know why, but they do this. I also got back on one subject.
Other: I chose this course because there are many more jobs and more scope in this course, like financial marketing, advertising marketing, business management, etc.

Overall review is good as per the fees charged.
Placements: Placement of this college is quite average, and a few companies came to hire students at below-average packages, like 3 to 4 LPA packages. These companies mass recruit, companies like TCS take mass recruitment of students. But the expectation of placement is worthless.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of university buildings is good enough. New buildings are being made that are student-friendly, and the college life experience is good. I have visited all the building departments, which are newly made, and they're good enough for students, which makes for a good experience.
Faculty: Faculty is below average, and the examination department is also below average because teachers are not as supportive as students expect. The examination department takes the semester exam late, as per the session which we are studying, and some batches are 1 semester late as per their session.
Other: Experience is average here.

Top recruiting companies are Bajaj Finance, ICICI Bank, Tata Finance and HDFC Bank. 70 to 80 percent of students got internships for Bajaj Finance, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Tata Finance, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, digital classrooms, a computer lab, a library and a separate department building are available for the B.Com honours department. There is no hostel in my college, but a private PG is available near the college. There is a canteen in the college, and only vegetarian food is available there. The college has medical facilities and sports facilities too.
Faculty: All the teachers in the college are good, very knowledgeable and smart. Along with studies, college teachers also talk about what should be done in the future and what should not be done. The passing marks of the semester exam in college are 40 percentage.
Other: The placement in the college is good, and the college campus and college building are also good.

An average college and good placement.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is around 50-60%. The highest package is 5.7 LPA, the lowest is 1.3 LPA, and the median of the packages bagged by the students is 4.4 LPA. Top recruiters on campus are Bajaj Finance, ICICI Bank, etc. The top role offered to the students is that of senior accountant cum manager.
Infrastructure: There are Wi-Fi installations at almost every prime place. There is a central library with a wide variety of books on every major. There is no hostel provided by the university or college, but private PGs are available nearby. The canteen is hygienic and great in aesthetics, and just like its aesthetics, the food options are yummy too. The medical room is available. Sports and games are organised periodically.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified individuals with a very knowledgeable aura. They are helpful towards the students who wish to seek knowledge around the subjects and their practical applications. The course curriculum is almost 80-90% relevant to the industry, and the rest is an outdated syllabus. However, after completion of the course, the students become industry-ready. Semester examinations are moderate, and the passing percentage is around 85%.
Other: I chose this course as it had a great placement rate in comparison to other courses. Improvement needed, a very small part of the syllabus has become outdated for today's industry, it should have been cut off from the syllabus. I am not interested in events, so I am skipping that part.
