According to the media reports, BITS Pilani has achieved 54.35% placements in the semestor 1 of the placement session 2025 across its three Indian campuses (Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad). A total of 1700 students registered for the placements, of which 924 secured job offers from reputed companies. The average salary offered across the three campuses stood at INR 28.64 LPA. Earlier, 297 companies visited BITS Hyderabad campus in 2024 and placed 81.01% of students. The average and median package secured by the overall batch 2024 was INR 20.7 LPA and INR 185 LPA.

According to the media reports, BITS Goa recorded an 82.10% placement rate in the academic year 2023-2024. BITS Hyderabad has a dedicated placement cell that works closely with leading recruiters to offer placement opportunities. The  media reports reveals that the average and median package offered to the Class of 2024 stood at INR 20.36 LPA and INR 17 LPA. A total of 3202 students registered of which 2592 were placed in reputed companies. The institute has placed 81% of its students in the academic year 2023-2024. 

BITS Pilani has a strict fee refund policy: no refunds are available after payment, and transaction fees are not refundable. Non-admitted candidates can request a fee refund by providing their bank account information. The BITSAT counselling fee is also non-refundable. Additionally, BITS Pilani offers merit-based tuition fee waivers: the top 4% of students receive an 80% waiver, the next 10% get a 50% waiver, the following 20% receive a 30% waiver, and the remaining students are granted a 15% waiver on tuition fees.

All aspirants to the B.Tech. programme offered through WILP by BITS Pilani have a required criteria: either, she / he should hold Diploma in Engineering or any qualification and/or graduation. Further, one also needed minimum 60 % mark score in her/his/her higher academic qualification. Additionally, at least one-year employment has to be obtained following that. One of those main conditions would include specified other requirements that need be catered for on specialization-related fronts. The admission process involves an online application, followed by a selection process that may involve a personal interview or an online test depending on the specific program.

According to the media reports, BITS Hyderabad recorded an 87.39% placement rate in the academic year 2022-2023. You can join BITS Pilani by taking a loan. I do agree that the fees are quite high, but you can easily avail loans from banks, which are desperate to give them to students of BITS. Secondly, the return you get after completion is really high, like an average salary of INR 14 lakhs. Apart from this, BITS also provides scholarships to its students. You can also avail of scholarships from other sources.

Completing an MBA at BITS Pilani, especially through its dedicated management school, BITSoM, is widely viewed as a solid choice for aspiring business professionals. The programme is well-regarded and provides excellent access to campus placements, largely due to BITS Pilani's strong reputation in the job market, particularly within the technology sector. Graduates often find ample job opportunities thanks to the institution's connections with various companies. However, it's worth noting that, while BITSoM holds a prestigious standing, it may not rank as highly as some elite, specialised management institutes in certain industries. Prospective students should weigh their options carefully based on their career goals.

To get admission in First Degree programs at BITS Pilani, Dubai, candidates must obtain a minimum 60% aggregate in the 12th class. They also need a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science. However, for B.E. Biotechnology, students must have a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Biology, and Chemistry. For a higher degree, students must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum 60% aggregate.
