Hi,There are two modes of admission in integrated First Degree programs at  BITS Pilani: (A) Through the BITSAT-2024 Scheme, (B) Through the Board Topper's scheme,Through BITSAT-2024 Admissions will be made purely on merit. The candidate's merit position will be based on the score obtained by the candidate in a computer-based Online Test (BITSAT) conducted by BITS, Pilani.Board Topper's scheme: The institute will give direct admission to first-rank students of all the central and state boards to the programme of their choice, irrespective of their  BITSAT-2024 score. While the first rank student in the PCM stream will be considered for admission to any of the first-degree programmes of his/her choice, the first rank holder of the PCB stream will be considered for admission to B. BITS Pilani (not Planny) is pretty selective when it comes to admission, so if your score in the qualifying exams is not high enough, there is no alternate route of admission. Still, there are a few things one can do:Reappear for it Next Year: If you are a student and get the chance to re-appear for the exams of 12th boards, then do your best to increase your scores in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (for Pharmacy, Biology will be there) to achieve minimum aggregate with minimum marks of 60% in each subject.Alternative Exams: BITS Pilani accepts SAT for NRI students. Still, the route also requires maintaining a good academic record and minimum marks in 12th board exams.
