The JEE Mains rank is not considered for admission to BITS Pilani.The cutoff for B.Tech CSE at BITS Pilani is very high, as it is one of the most sought-after courses. The cutoff for the year 2023 was 320 out of 390 marks in BITSAT. The cutoff for the year 2024 is not yet announced, but it is expected to be around the same range or higher.Therefore, to get admission to B.Tech CSE at BITS Pilani, you need to score very well in BITSAT and have a good academic record in 12th standard. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. You can check the syllabus, exam pattern, and sample papers here.- Appear for the BITSAT exam, which will be held between 19 and 30 April 2024 (tentatively) at various centres across India and abroad. You will need to score above the cut-off marks for the B.Tech programme of your choice at BITS Pilani. According to the BITS Pilani website, the eligibility criteria for admission to its Integrated First-Degree Programmes (B.E. and M.Sc.) are as follows: You should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognised Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.You should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects in the 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.You should have appeared for the BITSAT-2024 test and scored above the cut-off marks for the programme of your choice.The cut-off marks for BITSAT-2024 have not been announced yet, but based on the previous years' data, the cut-off marks for B.E. programmes at BITS Pilani campus ranged from 255 to 383. Therefore, with 220 marks, you may not be eligible for admission to BITS Pilani campus. However, you may still have a chance to get admission to other BITS campuses, such as BITS Goa, BITS Hyderabad, or BITS Dubai, depending on the availability of seats and the cut-off marks for those campuses.Alternatively, if you are a first rank student of your board examination, you can get direct admission to the programme of your choice at BITS Pilani, irrespective of your BITSAT score.
