ONGC-Recruitment-through-GATE
ONGC Recruitment through GATE 2025: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) will soon release the notification for ONGC recruitment through GATE 2025. The application form for the recruitment of Graduate Trainees at E-1 level in Engineering & Geo-Sciences through GATE 2024 will be released tentatively in March/April after the announcement of the GATE 2025 results.

Candidates will be required to pay a registration fee to apply for various job vacancies in ONGC. The candidate must also upload their photograph, signature, and application form for ONGC recruitment through GATE 2025.

Candidates who qualify for the GATE 2025 will only be eligible to apply for the ONGC recruitment through GATE 2025 and will be shortlisted based on their GATE scores. As part of the ONGC recruitment application procedure, candidates must pay an application fee and upload their photographs and signatures in the prescribed format and size. Shortlisted candidates, based on their GATE Score, are called for a written test.

Q:   For how many papers can one student apply in GATE 2025?
A:

Students applying for GATE 2025 can opt for two subject papers from the prescribed set of combinations. Earlier, the candidates could apply to appear in only one subject. As a candidate can appear in only two papers (only approved set) of the 30 papers for which GATE 2025 will be conducted, they must carefully choose the papers they wish to write. A candidate is expected to appear in the papers appropriate to the discipline of his or her qualifying degree. However, he or she is free to choose any paper according to his or her admission plan, keeping in mind the GATE eligibility criteria of the institutions in which he or she wishes to seek admission. For more details regarding the admission criteria at any particular institute, the candidate is advised to refer to the websites of that institute. Those candidates opting for two paper combinations for GATE 2025 have a primary choice of paper as their default choice. The second choice of paper has to be chosen from the allowed combinations. Listed combinations are only allowed, and those that are not listed are not allowed. For more detail Read: https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/gate-exam-pattern.

Q:   How many GATE exam centres can a candidate choose?
A:

A candidate can choose at least three exam cities while filling the GATE application form. The conducting authorities will conduct the GATE exam at around 200 exam centres from the issued list of GATE exam centres. For more information, candidates can refer to the article here - https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/gate-exam-centre

Q:   What are passing marks in GATE exam?
A:

Passing marks in GATE exam is different for all 30 papers. The GATE qualifying mark for PSUs recruitment is also different. Candidates appearing in any GATE paper have to obtain the minimum mark in order to be declared qualified for the exam. Only qualified candidates are considered for admission to MTech/MSc/PhD programs and the MHRD scholarship. Candidates can check previous year GATE cutoff for various papers on the Shiksha page or from the GATE official website.

Qualified applicants in the written test, will face a personal interview round before getting offered the appointment letter. Candidates can read the article below to check the application process, eligibility criteria, important dates, selection procedure, pay scale, training and other conditions of the ONGC recruitment through GATE 2024.

The eligibility criteria for GATE include passing a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology or basic Science from a recognised university, and meeting the specific eligibility criteria for the discipline you wish to pursue. Candidates from India and other countries can apply for GATE, but they must meet the eligibility criteria. The exam is conducted online and is offered in 30 subjects. A:

The Science and the HSS Department of IIT Kharagpur started four-year BSc programme admission to which is subject to a valid rank in JEE Advanced exam.  Aspirants seeking IIT Kharagpur BSc and Integrated MSc admission need to qualify for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams to get shortlisted. For eligibility, candidates are required to have completed their Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate. Those who would like to earn an MSc degree are given the option to do so at the end of the sixth semester of the BSc programme. Accordingly, the seventh and eighth semesters are planned so that a candidate gets an MSc degree at the end of the tenth semester.

Q:   Is JEE Advanced required for BArch admission at IIT Kharagpur?
A:

Q:   What is the last date to fill the choices in JoSAA counselling?

Q:   How is admission for M.Tech at IIT Kharagpur done through GATE?
A:

Admission to the M.Tech programme at IIT Kharagpur through GATE involves securing a GATE score and applying individually to each IIT. Shortlisting occurs, followed by interviews that might clash with different IITs. The number of applicants, shortlisted candidates, available seats, and interview performance impact the final selection. Some courses consider only GATE scores, and selected candidate lists are available on IIT portals or through COAP, a centralised platform for locking seats. Successful admission requires thorough preparation for technical interviews and adherence to specific procedures outlined by IIT Kharagpur.
