It is a good college for a normal graduation degree, but not for placements.

Placements: Our college offers a normal course. It provides a normal graduate degree college, and it is not for placements. In the BBA and BCA departments of my college, there are some placements. If students just want a degree, then they should go for it and enjoy college life, and no more than that.

Infrastructure: Our college has normal facilities. There are not so many labs, computers, and no Wi-Fi. However, it has many classrooms, but not more than that. The canteen is closed. There are no medical facilities. Sports and games are organised 1 time in a year.

Faculty: Teachers are not so helpful, but they are knowledgeable. Teaching quality is not so good. The course curriculum is not relevant. Semester exams are not too hard. If we study for 2 months for a semester, then it's okay to go for exams. The pass percentage is 40%. The college office members' behavior is so bad.

Other: Our college fest is superb.

Infrastructure: CIMT College, Chuchura features modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a library with digital resources. Hostels are secure and comfortable, with CCTV, wardens, clean food, power backup, Wi-Fi, and essential amenities under one roof. Overall, very good facility. Canteen is not available on the college campus.

Faculty: CIMT College, Chuchura has experienced faculty, an updated curriculum aligned with industry needs, and a mix of theory and practical learning. Exams follow a semester system with internal assessment, ensuring continuous evaluation and career readiness.

Other: The campus is not good at all. Also, the campus is very small.

Decent college experience with good infrastructure, supportive faculty, and scope for improvement.

Placements: Approximately 10% of students got placed. The highest package is 6 LPA. The top recruiting company is Keros. None of the students got an internship. Top roles are in sales, some are in software development engineer, which is off-campus, like TCS, Cognizant, and some companies by NextGen venture.

Infrastructure: The department has good classrooms with projectors and Wi-Fi, though the speed may vary. Labs are functional but a bit outdated. The library is peaceful and well-stocked. Hostel rooms are shared and come with basic furniture. Cleanliness and maintenance are average. Mess food is hygienic but repetitive; the canteen offers better snacks. Medical facilities cover basic needs, and serious cases are referred to a nearby hospital. Sports facilities are available for both indoor and outdoor games, but may lack regular maintenance. Overall, the campus life is decent and manageable with some adjustments. It's suitable for a focused academic life.

Faculty: The teachers are generally helpful, well-qualified, and have good subject knowledge. Some go beyond the syllabus to support students, while a few stick strictly to books. The teaching quality is decent, depending on the faculty. The course curriculum is mostly relevant and covers industry basics, but practical exposure is limited, so students may need extra effort to be industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. Not too tough if you study regularly. The pass percentage is fairly high, around 80%-90%, as internal assessment and assignments help boost final marks.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in technology and its career scope. However, the course could improve with more industry visits and hands-on workshops. College fests and events are enjoyable and well-organized. The campus crowd is friendly and diverse. Connectivity is good with nearby transport options. The surroundings are peaceful. Scholarships are available for deserving students. Extracurricular activities like sports, tech clubs, and cultural programs add to the overall student experience.

A strong foundation for budding IT professionals.

Placements: Around 70 to 80% of students are placed. The highest package offered in BCA course is 7 LPA to 8 LPA, lowest is 2.5 LPA to 3 LPA, and average is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Infosys, Wipro, and TCS are the companies that provide top recruitment. Around 50 to 60% of students get internships for career development. Top roles like data analyst and software developer are offered.

Infrastructure: College has strong Wi-Fi connection, and has air-conditioned room and enough computer systems for students. A small library is present. Don't have any hostel facilities, and the food is really fresh and tasty. There is a great arrangement in case of playing.

Faculty: Teachers are really helpful. They are available in case of students' problems. Class tests are taken by the teachers every month. Semester exams are not as tough as the teacher explains everything clearly using technology. They prepare each student before the semester exam by taking the exam.

Other: It seems interesting to work with technology, and it's more interesting about learning new computer languages. The events are much better, and teachers and students enjoy together at every fest.

It is absolutely a great college and highly recommended for studies.

Placements: Last year, I saw that the highest package offered was 2.4 LPA. Basically, our college motivated us to go for higher studies. Many companies come to offer placements. Many students got internships also. Many roles are offered in this course by our college.

Infrastructure: It has a great Wi-Fi connection. Every lab is really good. Classrooms are great. The library is good. The hostel facility is great, and the food in the mess is nice. Basically, our college tries to focus not only on studying but also on co-curricular activities. Every year our college organises an annual sports day program.

Faculty: Our all teachers are great. They all are highly educated. Everyone's teaching skills are great. This course is helpful not only for college exams but also help us for higher study and for government competitive examinations.

Other: I chose history as my major subject for my knowledge and it is also my favorite subject, so I chose it. This course will help me for higher studies and also for competitive examinations. Mess food quality should be improved. Every year, our college organises a program called Social. The campus capacity is good. This college has two campuses called the main campus and the Gurudev Bhaban Campus. Many government and non-government scholarships are available for students.

I am a little dissatisfied with the placements in college.

Placements: As I am doing BBA in Hospitality Management, less than 50% of students are placed in our course. Our college doesn't have any contact with top companies, and I really don't have any information about the packages. However, the percentage of students going for internships is 100% from our college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure includes a library, computer lab, optometry lab, language lab, and biotechnology lab. Wi-Fi is available but not for everyone, and the classrooms are neat and clean. The hostel facilities are also good, with decent meals available in the canteen, and sports and yoga games are played by the facilities.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of faculty members is good and inspiring, making students industry-ready. It's not too difficult to pass the semester, with a pass percentage of 35%. If anyone gets that, they pass.

Other: I chose this course because the hospital sector is a place where I can get a job very fast. The best thing about my course is the study. I wish there was a greater focus on practical knowledge rather than just theoretical knowledge.

It looks impossible get direct admission in University of Burdwan. You should appear in JEE Mains or WB JEE like entrance exam and also get 45% minimum in Class 12th Board.
