BAMS - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery - Batch of 2029
5.0
Overall, it's good, you can go for it.
Placements: 100 students are in one class. The highest package is for MBBS, approximately 80 LPA. The lowest package is for Pharmacy and Nursing. The average package for B.A.M.S. is approximately 25–30 LPA with hostel. Top companies, Shree Nandi Ayurveda Chair Oil, Shuddha Ghrit Moisturizer, visit the campus. Approximately 75% of students get internships, and 25% get backlogs.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good compared to other colleges. The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available in the college and hostel. Labs are good. Digital classrooms and the library are good. Hostel facilities are also good. Food is not good in taste. Sometimes it is good and sometimes not. It depends on your taste.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified, with many doing PG or PhD. Some are doing from AIIA Delhi. Knowledge is very good. Teaching quality is average, not so good. The course curriculum is relevant. Exams are not difficult, but sometimes some papers are difficult.
Other: I chose because ayurveda is the future as it treats the root cause of diseases. It has modern aspects and quality. Big events happen once a year, and small events like Navratri, Holi, and Diwali are celebrated with DJ nights. A fest called Celebrity Night is held every year.

Review of GS Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital.
Placements: Placements are not generally in medical. But I think they provide placement. It is very nice. Placements are very good. We have 1 year of internship where they teach us all clinically based topics and interact with patients effectively, so we don't have placement, only internship is there.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good and nice. They are building a new hostel. They reconstructed the road. They have ample number of hostel, and they are increasing their class capacity. They made a huge canteen recently. They have a big cricket ground. There is one small ground.
Faculty: They take PA every month in the form of viva copy check, practical, MCQs, etc. They take exams every 6 months, consisting of 100 marks and practical. We have a final university exam after 1.5 years. Exams are sometimes hard, sometimes easy, it totally depends on us. I will say medium difficult.
Other: B.A.M.S. is a good course. My choice is MBBS but I took this course because I didn't score good in NEET exam.

Poor infrastructure and dissatisfaction with campus life.
Placements: Placements in our college are average and less recognized compared to other colleges. This college provides the degree for the course, but getting a job is entirely up to you. As for internships, the college doesn’t have a patient flow, so it is hard to get enough practical, and you are not paid. The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery allows students to start their own pharma business, clinic, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-educated, but they are not very passionate about students or their courses. They are not concerned about exams or completing the course before exams. However, the course is relevant for this time.
Other: The course is good enough for students at this time, but the college staff have a very old thinking. There is no real campus life, so think according to this college only gives you the degree the rest of you have to manage it by yourself.

    All the basic information.
Placements: This is a medical college, so there are no placements. However, the college does offer rural campaigns for students to gain experience interacting with patients. This is a necessary experience for a medical student. The college also has very good facilities that students need.
Infrastructure: The college has all the basic amenities that a student would need, such as large and spacious classrooms, a good library with all the books we need, a college hostel with full security, and a good quality of mess food. All sports grounds are present, and the college is improving its facilities day by day.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are fully qualified as per the curriculum. They are graduates of well-known institutions. The semester exams are not that difficult, but most students pass them. About 80-85% of the students pass. If we study regularly, we won't find the exams difficult.
Other: I chose this college because it provides very good facilities at an affordable fee. The campus is about 75 acres, and all games are available, including cricket, football, and volleyball grounds. Overall, the college has a good atmosphere.

Absolutely satisfied because of the students and faculty members here.
Placements: There is no placement, but in the future, hoping for the best. They don't give any stipend to students, and interns are working here for free. Hoping in future years, we will be getting paid by the GS Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital.
Infrastructure: The hostel has three people in a single room with an almirah, a chair, and a table with a Bed. The classroom is for a hundred students with Wi-Fi supplied. The library is also built greatly, having all books, especially Ayurvedic and modern aspects. They have all types.
Faculty: The teachers here are so good, and their helping nature adores us so much. They have great knowledge regarding their respective subjects. The teaching quality is good for the students, and they will easily gain knowledge here. The semester exams are held every term.
Other: The events here are very well arranged by the cultural committee.

Honest review of a B.A.M.S. college.
Placements: This college does not provide any placements. This course does not get campus selection. We have to run our own hospital or clinic. This is a medical degree in which one can get a government job, a private job, or set up their own clinic. No placements are done in the best colleges of India.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good. The labs and departments are well equipped with instruments; they are just loaded with articles. Our library has a vast range of books. The hostel is also well maintained and sanitized. Sanitation and water coolers are also provided.
Faculty: The teachers are the best. Our faculty members are the best; they teach us in both English and Hindi. They are well educated. Our course curriculum is relevant to the diseases prevailing in society nowadays. Our semester exams are quite tough as there are shlokas which we have to learn.

I am satisfied with the teaching quality.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements. It does not conduct placement drives. Students should have good clinical skills to get jobs in government hospitals.
Infrastructure: Our college building is old. All classrooms have projectors. There are no air conditioners in classrooms. There is no Wi-Fi in our college. The lab facilities are good. There is no drinking water facility in our college. All washrooms are average. The food served in the mess is average. The hostel building is average. It has a small playground.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best. They are highly qualified and helpful. They conduct classes regularly. Students do not get much clinical exposure. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: Our college should provide a drinking water facility. Our college does not conduct events and fests. It organises Ganesh Chaturthi.

Good college and it is value for money.
Placements: By this profession, you can become an Ayurvedic doctor. If you have the potential then you can achieve a great success. The demand of Ayurveda is increasing day by day, so this course is good. .
Infrastructure: The infra is good but they can do better. Playground area is very nice and the classes are good. But electricity is a problem here. Management is not good. But the teachers are helpful. Infra is average overall.
Faculty: The university always does negligence in conducting the exams on time. Otherwise, the college conducts regular tests and exams, on time. The college does everything for a student. The college wants its students to be the best.
Other: Ayurveda is now the future for medicine. Now, it is high time to go and explore the course by yourself. There is a great scope in this course. If you have the potential then you can achieve the best.
