Fashion Department at GKFTII.
Placements: Rarely does anyone get placements, and even if they do, the placements aren't that great. Most recruiting companies are based in Delhi and Noida. However, students do get good internships here. For example, a senior got an internship under Rahul Mishra, though it was entirely his own effort and hard work.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi available to students and no library either. There are no clubs or extracurricular activities. The canteen food is average, not very bad but not very good either. The canteen is more like a restaurant, so students barely go there. Sports day is held every year, but no fest happens. Only major festivals are celebrated.
Faculty: The faculty is good and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is fairly good. The curriculum is relevant, and they have recently introduced AI-based fashion learning, which is quite interesting. The exams are not very difficult because the course is more practical than theoretical. What you do in class is what you’ll be expected to do in the exams as well.

Dissatisfied with the placements, but good infrastructure and average faculty members.
Placements: Placements have started from the previous year only. Before that, the college did not provide any placement opportunities for students. Students were supposed to find a job by themselves. Although placements were started for the previous batch, the opportunities were not as per expectations. Companies that visited our campus are Pantaloons and Tommy Hilfiger. They offered roles like salesgirl, but students did not appreciate those roles. The college provides internship for the first two years which was unpaid. Students had to pay for the internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Classrooms are good, and the teaching pattern adopted is smart classes. The college doesn't provide Wi-Fi facility for students, and it's provided only for the college systems. There are good medical facilities, and labs are excellent with a good set of machines. Quality of food served in the canteen is average, and hostel rooms are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are average. Teachers are good, and only some of them were professionals in their respective fields. Smart classes are used for teaching, and the faculty to student ratio is average. On an average, one teacher guides nearly 40 students in a classroom. The college doesn't provide any industrial exposure, but some workshops are conducted in various fields.
Other: The college organises various fests. Nirvana is the annual cultural fest of the college, and it contains many formal as well as informal events like DJ night and star performance. Kala Utsav is the annual fest of the fashion department, and it has various events like drawing competition, pot decoration and jewellery making competition. Many schools are invited to the college to showcase our creative work. Infinity is our department fashion show, our final year students showcase their collections in it. Different departments in the college organise various technical and non-technical fests. The campus crowd is average. The university provides scholarships for students who are financially weak, and the scholarship is not from the college side.

Everything seems well good but the placement area does't match to quality of facilities standard.
Placements: Placements are nominal as they solemnly depends over the capabilities of the individual. Although many companies and famous MNC's come for the campus recruitment and the rate of selection is good. Internships from college level are provided by the management upto there extent. At an average every individual has one or two placements in hand for the academic session 2017-18.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is one of the major attraction to the students of VIFT. Library and labs are well-equipped with all major facilities like Wi-Fi and magazines are updated at regular intervals. Hygienic classrooms along with well furnished furnitures. The institute is completely under CCTV surveillance and security is very strong.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and have high knowledge of the subject they teach. The quality of teaching is very good. Assignments and unit tests occur at regular intervals. Industrial visits happens approximately two times per semester and the syllabus is completed on time everytime. The curriculum is designed in such that it helps in academic and industrial section both.
Other: One of the finest crowds among the nearby colleges is at the VIFT. The annual fest called infinity where the final year students showcase there project designs is a major attraction for all. Extracurricular activities like games and trips make the students refreshed.

According to me, GKFTII is the best college for fashion.
Placements: At least 96% of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered is INR 36k p.m. at intern level; the lowest is INR 8k p.m. Top recruiting companies are Zara, H&M, and pop designer labels. 100% of students got internships; they got internships at designer brands and export houses. The top roles offered are those of Visual merchandiser, Fashion illustrator, Fashion coordinator, etc.
Infrastructure: All classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Also, in labs, all software is provided; legal software is installed on every system. Faculty are very friendly and helpful. The canteen provides good food and always changes the menu so that you are not bored. The canteen provides cold beverages. The college always organized a cricket tournament. Also, club activities are organized every week. Dress codes are provided by the dean for the entertainment photoshoots.
Faculty: Professors are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Every single detail they explain also gives a practical demo so that every student can learn the things easily.
Yes, this course curriculum is relevant.
In one semester, two CAT exams are organized as internal exams, and then there is the end-term exam, to which we have to go to the university for theory exams and practical exams in college. 98% is the pass percentage.

Really good infrastructure and facilities. Placement r also v good and satisfied.
Placements: 80 percent of student were placed. The highest package 23 lac, the lowest package 4 lac, average package 6 to 7 lac per offered per year. Top four or five companies came for recruitment.75% above student got internship in top companies. In our curse companies offered good post.
Infrastructure: In our course there is separate building, big computer lab, there are so many high class swing machines of different types like different types of swing and buttons also from machine and different, different type of so many thing which is used for designing. Hostel is good neat and clean washrooms and bathrooms good food in mess and canteen, medical facilities available for 24 hour, all sports and games r available.
Faculty: Teachers r v nice helpful and qualified and good knowledge of subject teaching qualities r superb. The courses r curriculum relevant. Its make the student ready for the industry. Semester exams r not so difficult coz teacher prepared our course well. 80%.
Other: I enjoyed my college life our batch mats r v good. I wants to become fashion designer. Overall campus crowed connectivity, campus surroundings Fest Event I enjoyed.

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I don't know much about the senior batches. But I have heard that students in batches senior to mine have good internship opportunities, which further placed them in good companies and under good designers. Good packages are offered to students with good roles.
Infrastructure: Labs for the fashion department are good. There is a pattern-making and a garment construction lab with good equipment. The library contains many good books for all the particular departments available in the college. The quality of food provided in the mess of the hostel is quite nice.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, helpful, and quite well-experienced, along with mentors. The course curriculum is relevant, and the exposure to different industry experiences makes students industry-ready. We are taken to experience different exhibitions and events.

You cannot get direct admission for BDS in CCSU Meerut. They only accept students through NEET UG and counseling, so you need to qualify for that & the total course fee is usually between 11 lakh and 15 lakh for all years combined.
