CCSU Placements 2025: Median Package, Average Package, Top Companies

According to unofficial online sources, the Chaudhary Charan Singh University alumni are primarily working in the Business Development sector with a 27% share. The detailed sector-wise distribution of alumni is represented in the below pie chart:

The separate placement data for CCSU BA LLB is not released yet. As per the overall statistics, the overall highest package recorded for the 2022 passing out batch was INR 37 LPA and in total 57 students were placed. As per the NIRF report 2025, the median package offered to UG (5-year) students was INR 7.8 LPA. A total 34 UG 5 year students were placed out of the total 50 UG 5 year graduated students during CCSU Meerut placements 2024. 

The placement details of PG batch 2025 are yet to be released on the official website of Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) Meerut. However, the University has released the NIRF report 2025 which includes the placement details for the batch 2024. In PG 2-year program,  314 students of the batch 2024 were placed with a median salary of INR 7 LPA. Further, 11 students from the PG 3 year batch 2024 secured placements with the median salary of INR 7 LPA.

The university offers MBA, MSc, MA, etc. at the PG level. Admission to some of these courses is entrance-based while for others, candidates need to pass the qualifying exam. Check below the selection rounds for CCS University:

1. MBA/ MCA: CUET-PG + Counselling
2. M.Ed/ LLM: CCS Entrance Exam + Counselling

The university shortlists candidates for MBA based on CUET-PG scores as UPCET has been scrapped out. Candidates are now shortlisted based on CUET-PG and will further be invited for counselling. Candidates who successfully go through the counselling will further be allotted a seat. The Central University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) or CUET PG, is an all-India level entrance exam which is being introduced for admission into PG programmes. The exam is conducted in a computer-based mode for 105 minutes or 1 hour 45 minutes.

 Candidates who passed class 12 with 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST) are eligible to apply for BBA (General) course. In addition, for BBA in Hospital Administration, the candidate must have passed class 12 or an equivalent exam with Biology/commerce and at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST) are eligible for admission.

Yes, CCSU is a good college. CCSU University Meerut is ranked 254 by the QS Asian University Rankings - Southern Asia category 2026. Chaudhary Charan Singh Meerut is also ranked 41 under the State Public Universities category by NIRF 2025. 

Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., a Bachelor's degree with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) can apply. The application process is completely online. According to the reviews on Shiksha (Priyanshi Goel,  B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027) CCSU has good infrastructure with supportive faculty members. The placement was decent, with several companies visiting the campus and offering roles like software developer, analyst, etc. The package range is medium and high. The college has decent infrastructure with maintained classrooms, labs, Wi-Fi, and a library with sufficient resources.
