Yes, as the UPCET exam was scrapped in 2022. Now JEE Mains is accepted. Further, admission can be done through counselling conducted by Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). Further, the seat allotment for vacant seats shall be done on a merit basis after the conclusion of state-level counselling. Additionally, admissions under lateral entries in BTech (against the vacant seats after counselling) will be done on the basis of the merit of the corresponding exam related to the eligibility criterion.
Students who have passed Class 12 with compulsory subjects Physics and Math and one of the optional subjects (Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects) with or without grace with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) are eligible to apply for BTech courses.
