B.Sc. (Hons.) in Botany - Batch of 2026

Absolutely dissatisfied with the hostel and placements, and satisfied because of my faculty.
Placements: Our department has no placements, and at the end of the course, we will do some major projects. In my batch, we are up to 65%, and we have completed summer internships in different universities. As botanists, this course is very useful for us to join post-graduation directly without any graduation.
Infrastructure: Our university is still developing, but we have some lab equipment and better infrastructure. As science background students, we need better lab exposure and experience. When it comes to the hostel, our university doesn't have one, and I am staying in a private PG.
Faculty: My department professors are very knowledgeable, and they clarify all my doubts. They provide a lot of depth in my course, teaching semester-relevant topics and also preparing us for competitive exams. In our university, semester exams are conducted strictly, with a minimum pass rate of 80-90%.
Other: I chose this course because I love botany and I am interested in it. It is a vast subject, allowing us to specialise in areas like microbiology, biotechnology, etc. We have more scope, but I wish I had more lab exposure and experience. I enjoyed a lot on campus. We have conducted and attended many seminars and fests.

It is a good university with excellent faculty members.
Placements: In our course, as it is a science course, i.e., geology, we didn't have many placements. Out of the three people in our seniors, two people got placements. Like our university didn't give it, but they have recommended to the institution that these two people can work.
Infrastructure: Regarding our infrastructure for our quote, it is good as we have the minimum requirement for our course. It is a government university, and it is still in the construction process, so we do not have our permanent hostel yet. Currently, we are in a transit campus.
Faculty: As it is a central university, the course curriculum and faculty members are excellent. They are very interactive, so that we can directly go to the HOD to talk and can ask doubts regarding our education. We can ask personal doubts and clarify them regarding our personal growth, like the future courses we need to take. It is an autonomous institution, so exams are held within our campus, and it will be very strict.
Other: In our batch, we have eight students. It is a Central University, so in our batch, we have students from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Odisha, West Bengal, Assam, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Sikkim, and all other states.

B.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence - Batch of 2027

Good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: There were nine seniors in our batch, and one of those students had taken a job that pays only 5 lacs per annum. Some of the students have gone to the Central University of Andhra Pradesh to pursue their M.Sc. in artificial intelligence. So, you can't keep placements as an option when you come here.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi facilities, which are very good, but we don't have hostels in our own college. So, we have to reside in paid guest hostels in the city or in private college hostels, which are shown by the university. The cost is in the 3400 to 5400 range.
Faculty: There is a black spot in every sky, but all of the faculty members are very knowledgeable people and very down to earth. The exams are normal. We have two mid-term examinations for the semester examination, and the correction is very liberal. You can cover the syllabus within one week of an exam. The passing percentage of the examination is 35%, and you have to maintain 75% attendance.
Other: This is the only central university that has a B.Sc. in artificial intelligence. We need to improve the course structure. We don't have mathematics in artificial intelligence, which is a great drawback. The college crowd is so friendly; we don't have ragging. We have a fest, Utkarsh, during the August season, where the foundation day occurs. We have sports and cultural activities and co-curricular activities.

I feel very satisfied because of this University.
Placements: Our batch is the first batch for that course in CTUAP. For our group we don't have placements but I feel that Botany course is not meant for placements but we gained lots of knowledge to crack CSIR NET Life Sciences. But we have internship opportunities from various government and non government organisations.
Infrastructure: Although there is no proper campus for our we are staying at some private hostels which are in contact basis with our university. The labs are good as they have rare equipments which are very costly. The labs are filled with air conditioned and lab equipment is also there.
Faculty: The faculty is very good as all of them are experienced with very high qualifications. Our University is following the NEP 2020 guidelines that make students industry ready through skill courses and internships. Everything is followed in a strict manner.
Other: As the University is following NEP 2020 it makes the students industry ready through skill courses.

The University is too good.
Placements: My University provides based on our skills and job requirements and placements helps the students to development while meeting the organisation. The students got internships in research centres and well practices certificates and the and providing top recruitment companies.
Infrastructure: There are so many facilities in our college like laboratories, skill development centers, smart classrooms and providing free Wi-Fi. The University provides all purpose of extra activities with valuable certificates. And conducted lot seminars in all languages and subjects.
Faculty: The University have very knowledge professors and they can do more help to students in scholarships recommendations and placements. The University pass percentage above 5 points and the course is very updated version like after graduation students are eligible for all jobs.
Other: The course offered after B.Sc. Honours degree directly eligible to Ph.D.

Friendly faculty and peaceful environment.
Placements: As our university has recently opened, there has been no word of placements. In the next few years, there might be good opportunities. The details of the top companies, packages, and roles offered in our course are not known yet. In future years, there are good chances.
Infrastructure: Our University is a transit campus and has a calm and clean environment with friendly and supportive staff. Our campus has free wifi and spacious classrooms. Our campus has advanced lab equipment and a library with RFID technology. There is no hostel facility yet.
Faculty: The faculty is very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is high. The curriculum is completely relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not so difficult from my point of view. The pass percentage is the same as at other universities.
Other: This is the course in which I am good, and at the same time, in the future, there might be many career opportunities in this field.
