B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering (Cyber Security) - Batch of 2025

You can opt for it if you are looking for a private university in North India.
Placements: I am in the 2nd year, so I knew placement details mostly from seniors and placement talks. They shared that around 50-60% of students got placed. The highest package was around 18 LPA, and the average was about 7 LPA. Common roles were SOC Analyst, Network Security Engineer, and Cyber Security Analyst.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure was good. Classrooms were air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi was available. Labs were decent, and the campus had lots of greenery. The canteen served a full thali for around Rs. 50–60. The hostel had 4 meals daily, 5-bed rooms, washing machines, AC/cooler options, and SBI Bank, SBI ATM, Axis ATM, and a general store inside the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members were supportive and easy to approach. The Mentor-Mentee system helped a lot because every student had a faculty mentor. The curriculum covered practical and industry-related topics. Exams were moderate. If students attended classes and practiced regularly, they were manageable.

B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering - Batch of 2029

4.0Placements4.0Infrastructure3.0Faculty4.0Crowd & Campus Life4.0Value for Money
College is value for money. It is a good option with fewer crowds and a good college life.
Placements: Approximately 60-70% of students get placement offers that are worth joining. The highest package is 1 crore, though it is a little controversial because the college has not released the name of the company that recruits the student yet. Seniors say that the student is currently on an internship period. If he performs well, then he gets the offer of 1 crore. The lowest package, as far as I know, is around 3 to 4 LPA. I do not know much about internships, but the campus itself provides a campus program with the Capgemini Centre. I do not know much about college internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well maintained. The college keeps a routine check on them. If anything is wrong with a classroom, they fix it, so the classrooms are perfectly fine. The college also provides good support for extracurricular activities. The classrooms and library are well maintained. The food is fine, though it is not as well developed as other Chitkara campuses.
Faculty: The curriculum and exams are okay. It is a normal college but puts too much pressure on attendance. I do not know how the answer sheets are evaluated because I get 19 marks in one subject and fail by just one mark. Another student sitting behind me copies from me throughout the whole exam and gets 33 marks on almost the same answer sheet without diagrams. So, I feel there is no consistency in the evaluation.
Other: Campus life is good, and the fest is good. The crowd is decent. It is a good alternative because it is economical and cheaper. It definitely provides good value for money.

MBA in Digital Marketing - Batch of 2026

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty support and facilities university provides to students.
Placements: Various students from my course get placed with good salary packages. The highest package is around 18 LPA. Faculty and the placement cell work hard to help students secure placements. In addition, internship opportunities are available on campus. Students can learn, gain practical experience, and build their portfolios.
Infrastructure: Labs have modern computer software where students can work on their projects. There is 24/7 availability of Wi-Fi and technical assistance, so the infrastructure is adequate. Classrooms are fully ventilated with air conditioning and windows. It allows students to study without any disturbance.
Faculty: My favorite aspect of this university is faculty. They act as mentors and guide students throughout their academic journey. This is true whether it is for placements, subject-related doubts, or general career guidance. Curriculum is regularly updated according to industry trends so that students stay informed and industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I enjoy marketing as a subject and want to build my career in this field.

B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering - Batch of 2027

Good infrastructure, decent placements, and supportive faculty.
Placements: This college does a lot to help us get jobs. They have placement drives all the time. We also get training to improve our problem-solving skills. We have coding sessions and mock interviews to prepare us for these things. Many companies from the computer industry, software companies and service companies come to our college. If you are good at coding, can talk to people well and do well in school. You will have a chance of getting a job. This college also helps us get internships.
Infrastructure: The Computer Science and Engineering department has good computer labs with internet. We have classrooms. Our library has lots of academic resources. I think the campus is really clean and they take care of it. You can get Wi-Fi in most areas. The hostel facilities are okay. They clean the rooms regularly.
Faculty: The faculty members are really helpful and easy to talk to. They know their subjects. They encourage students to join projects, workshops, and tech activities. The course covers Computer Science topics and has live sessions. Internal assessment and practical work also count towards the grade.

Best infrastructure and great events.
Placements: Placements are decent as it's a new university. Around 60-70 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 24 LPA, and the average is around 8 LPA. Companies like ServiceNow, Autodesk, Mu Sigma, and XPERI visited. Around half the batch also got internships in good roles.
Infrastructure: Campus infrastructure is one of the best parts. There are AC classrooms, good Wi-Fi, modern labs and comfortable furniture, which make classes better. Campus is full of greenery. Hostel provides 4 meals daily, AC/cooler rooms, washing machines (Rs. 29- Rs. 49) and a gym. Canteen thali is also budget-friendly (Rs. 60 full meal).
Faculty: Faculty is supportive and easy to talk to. The 1:25 mentor-mentee system really helps during academics and projects. The curriculum is industry-oriented with practical learning. Exams are moderate, so if you attend classes and study regularly, scoring well is manageable.

CGC Mohali: Absolutely satisfied with the university.
Placements: I study BCA at CGC Mohali. 75-85 percent of our students got placed with packages between 2.5 LPA and 10 LPA, with an average of 4 LPA-5 LPA. The major recruiters of our college are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini and Accenture. 60-70 percent of students got their internships. Software Developer, Web Developer, QA Engineer, System Engineer, Technical Support, and a few others are roles that are commonly offered.
Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure for the tech and computer applications depth at CGC Mohali, with smart classes, full Wi-Fi on campus and the latest computer labs. The library is another strong point of this college, very serene, having enough books as well as e-resources through ERP. The hostels have good and safe accommodation, there is a mess, which is not very expensive and has snacks. There are grounds and a cricket court too, as well as proper medical care on campus. So overall, the campus is good.
Faculty: Their faculty is supportive, skilful, and knowledgeable. They teach concepts properly and help students in projects and practical work. The BCA programme covers topics like programming languages, database management, web development and others and provides education relevant to the present industry demands. You have to take other skills from other certifications or projects to get a better job, as the syllabus will make you ready for an interview with basic knowledge.
