My experience as a B.Tech Cyber Security fresher.
Placements: I am a fresher, so placement details are mainly from seniors. Around 70 percent of students got placed, as I heard. The highest package is 20 LPA and the average is around 8 LPA. Recruiting companies mentioned include TCS, IBM, Infosys, Capgemini, and Deloitte. Cybersecurity roles are also available.
Infrastructure: The campus has good infrastructure. Classrooms are AC and furniture is comfortable. Wi-Fi is available, and labs support practical learning. The campus has good greenery and flowers. Gym and canteen are also available. A full thali costs around Rs. 50-60. Hostel options range from 2-bed to 5-bed rooms, with AC or cooler facilities. Some hostels are on campus and some around Landran and Mohali. Transport is available for students. Four meals are provided daily, and washing machines are available at around Rs. 29-49 per wash.
Faculty: Faculty members are approachable and supportive. The Cyber Security curriculum includes ethical hacking, data security, cryptography, vulnerability assessment, and digital forensics. Practical learning is given importance. Exams are manageable with regular classes and preparation.

Overall experience as a B.Tech cybersecurity fresher.
Placements: As a fresher, I know placement details mainly from seniors and official placement sessions. They shared that 70% of students were placed, with packages ranging from about 4 LPA to 18 LPA (average around 7 LPA). Common roles included Security Analyst and SOC Analyst, and many students also secured internships.
Infrastructure: The campus is well maintained with AC classrooms, Wi-Fi, modern labs, and good greenery. Hostel facilities include 4 meals a day, 5-bed rooms, washing machines, and AC/cooler options. The campus also has a gym, canteen, SBI branch, ATMs, and a general store, which makes daily life convenient.
Faculty: Being a first-year student, I found faculty approachable and supportive. The curriculum covers core cybersecurity topics along with practical learning. Industry collaborations and lab sessions provide exposure. Exams are manageable if you attend classes regularly and keep up with the coursework.

Average placements, nice infrastructure, and faculty members.
Placements: I am in my second year, so my placement information is based on seniors and placement sessions. Around 50–60% of students get placed. The highest package is about 18–20 LPA, and the average package is around 7 LPA. The roles offered include SOC Analyst, Network Security Engineer, and Cyber Security Analyst. Deloitte, Capgemini, Accenture, and Tech Mahindra visit the campus for placements, while many students are still looking for jobs.
Infrastructure: The hostel has snack vending machines. The campus is neat, with air-conditioned classrooms, Wi-Fi, good labs, and lots of greenery. A gym and canteen are available, and a full thali costs around Rs. 50–60. The hostel provides four meals a day, five-bed rooms, washing machines, AC/cooler options, an SBI branch, an SBI ATM, an Axis ATM, and a general store.
Faculty: Faculty members are approachable and supportive. The mentor-mentee system makes it easy to get academic guidance. The curriculum includes practical and industry-related topics. The examinations are of moderate difficulty. Regular attendance and preparation are usually enough to perform well.

You can opt for it if you are looking for a private university in North India.
Placements: I am in the 2nd year, so I knew placement details mostly from seniors and placement talks. They shared that around 50-60% of students got placed. The highest package was around 18 LPA, and the average was about 7 LPA. Common roles were SOC Analyst, Network Security Engineer, and Cyber Security Analyst.
Infrastructure: The campus infrastructure was good. Classrooms were air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi was available. Labs were decent, and the campus had lots of greenery. The canteen served a full thali for around Rs. 50–60. The hostel had 4 meals daily, 5-bed rooms, washing machines, AC/cooler options, and SBI Bank, SBI ATM, Axis ATM, and a general store inside the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members were supportive and easy to approach. The Mentor-Mentee system helped a lot because every student had a faculty mentor. The curriculum covered practical and industry-related topics. Exams were moderate. If students attended classes and practiced regularly, they were manageable.

College is value for money. It is a good option with fewer crowds and a good college life.
Placements: Approximately 60-70% of students get placement offers that are worth joining. The highest package is 1 crore, though it is a little controversial because the college has not released the name of the company that recruits the student yet. Seniors say that the student is currently on an internship period. If he performs well, then he gets the offer of 1 crore. The lowest package, as far as I know, is around 3 to 4 LPA. I do not know much about internships, but the campus itself provides a campus program with the Capgemini Centre. I do not know much about college internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well maintained. The college keeps a routine check on them. If anything is wrong with a classroom, they fix it, so the classrooms are perfectly fine. The college also provides good support for extracurricular activities. The classrooms and library are well maintained. The food is fine, though it is not as well developed as other Chitkara campuses.
Faculty: The curriculum and exams are okay. It is a normal college but puts too much pressure on attendance. I do not know how the answer sheets are evaluated because I get 19 marks in one subject and fail by just one mark. Another student sitting behind me copies from me throughout the whole exam and gets 33 marks on almost the same answer sheet without diagrams. So, I feel there is no consistency in the evaluation.
Other: Campus life is good, and the fest is good. The crowd is decent. It is a good alternative because it is economical and cheaper. It definitely provides good value for money.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty support and facilities university provides to students.
Placements: Various students from my course get placed with good salary packages. The highest package is around 18 LPA. Faculty and the placement cell work hard to help students secure placements. In addition, internship opportunities are available on campus. Students can learn, gain practical experience, and build their portfolios.
Infrastructure: Labs have modern computer software where students can work on their projects. There is 24/7 availability of Wi-Fi and technical assistance, so the infrastructure is adequate. Classrooms are fully ventilated with air conditioning and windows. It allows students to study without any disturbance.
Faculty: My favorite aspect of this university is faculty. They act as mentors and guide students throughout their academic journey. This is true whether it is for placements, subject-related doubts, or general career guidance. Curriculum is regularly updated according to industry trends so that students stay informed and industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I enjoy marketing as a subject and want to build my career in this field.
