B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering - Batch of 2029

Good infrastructure and decent placements, but self-effort is important.
Placements: I am currently pursuing a B.Tech CSE from CGC University. Placements here are decent, especially if you work on your skills and maintain good academics. Students from different courses also get placement opportunities, which is a good thing. Around 70-80% of students get placed in our course. In previous years, the highest package has gone up to 1 crore CTC, which is quite impressive. The average package is around 4-6 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and Capgemini visit the campus regularly. Internships are also available, and many students get chances in companies and startups. The top roles offered are Software.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of CGC University is quite good and well-maintained. Classrooms are spacious with proper seating and smart boards, and the labs are decent with the necessary equipment for practical learning. Wi-Fi is available across the campus, and the library is also well-equipped with useful books and study material. Hostel facilities are satisfactory, at a cost (Rs. 1,00,000 per year). The mess food is average. The canteen has better options, but the cost is high. No sports for normal student only for hostellers, or those who are interested can go.
Faculty: Faculty members in CGC University are generally helpful and qualified. Some focus more on theory, while others try to include practical concepts as well. Semester exams are not very difficult if you study. Overall student can learn well with some self-effort.
Other: I am pursuing B.Tech CSE core in the 2nd sem from CGC University. I chose this course because of my interest in technology and programming, and also, my 12th-grade percentage was low.

Overall, it is good for students who want to study and have a little bit of fun.
Placements: Placements are one of the strong points of the university. Around 80-90% get placed with an average package of 7-8 LPA. We can also get more opportunities by improving our skills, and we can also join some workshops to increase our skills in the field we are interested in.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good there, but the food lacks quality. Overall, the blocks in which the study is good and the classrooms offer a lot of features, like projectors. We can also join workshops, there are many available in each block. Overall, the blocks are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are generally helpful and supportive. They also help students to fully understand the topic, so that if someone hasn't got the full concept, he/she can also clear his/her doubt after the class from the respective faculty. Overall, the faculty is good.

Best campus life, unforgettable campus life with top-tier infrastructure.
Placements: It depends on the course, some courses have better placement opportunities than others. However, in most courses, around 70% to 80% of students get placed. The highest package can go up to Rs 1 crore. Overall, it's one of the best colleges for building a strong career.
Infrastructure: There are projectors, and they maintain classes with proper lighting. Wi-Fi facilities are also available on the full campus. The library with all the books is available. In the hostel, everything you need for basic life is available, and the quality of food is excellent. They also have medical facilities that are available 24 hours and many games and sports are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in all kinds of activities. They are highly qualified and responsible. This course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams in this college are not that difficult, its depend upon you how much you are prepared. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a businessman. The best things about this course are its relation to finance, the benefits includes high salary jobs like CA, CFA, CSA, etc. I wish to make digital studies. There are many events on this campus, and I love it.

Overall, CGC University is excellent.
Placements: CGC University Mohali is a good choice with a 4.3/5 rating and 85% placement rate. The highest package offered is Rs. 91 crore with top recruiters like Microsoft and Google. Fees are relatively high, but overall it's a good option for students. A strong placement record with top recruiters like TCS, Infosys, and Amazon.
Infrastructure: CGC University, Mohali, is known for its strong industry connection and practical approach. It has excellent infrastructure. The university has a modern campus with good infrastructure.
Faculty: CGC University, Mohali, is a good option for this course. The university has a knowledgeable faculty and a strong placement record. The faculty is knowledgeable and experienced, with many holding Ph.D. Degrees. The curriculum is designed to meet covering are like neural networks, deep learning, and natural language. MBA in Marketing - Batch of 2027

Fully satisfied as it is providing placement services, and an economical degree.
Placements: My area of interest is human resource development. It is related to human assets which are the most important resource in organisations. An MBA provides the platform where we can do a job in private and public schools. The highest package is more than 25 LPA and the other packages vary from 5 LPA to 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good. It provides several facilities such as a library which is both digital and manual. Apart from that it is fully air-conditioned and modern. They are providing Wi-Fi facility day and night but at the same time they are facing the issue of more users. Classrooms are well-ventilated.
Faculty: Teachers have a portable and helpful nature. They provide guidance but they are more strict with lectures. Apart from that they are putting the numeria so fine. Teachers work more on theoretical work rather than the practical work. Apart from that classmates account for more than 90 percent of the results.
Other: The best thing about this college is the placements. But the placements are mostly from the marketing sector. We need more placements in the HR area. There is improvement as many companies are frequently visiting the HR department for jobs. The college is conducting many events.

Overall, the university is good.
Placements: As for other departments, rather than law, I have seen they do provide placements, but the packages they showed are not the ones students are getting, and those packages are only received by very rare students, some by their own or through the college. There are many courses provided by the university. Anyone can check on their website.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. As for old buildings, it's still good in my opinion. About the hostel, I would say it's good too. The rooms are okay, and the new hostel rooms are better than the old ones, but overall it has nice infrastructure. The wardens are okay. Sometimes they try to solve issues, sometimes they are just okay.
Faculty: For our law department, I would say the faculty, exams, and curriculum are very good. Our teachers graduated from NLUs and well-known universities. Time-to-time, curricular activities are conducted, and about other departments and their courses, the teachers are good, and they do provide activities, as I said before.
Other: Law is one of my interests, and I wanted to study law and am pursuing it right now. So I really like what I am doing, and it was my interest and decision to join this course. About improvements and betterment for this university, I would love to improve the management and the way the authorities handle everything. They need to fix their attitude.
