M.A. in Economics - Batch of 2026
3.6
Good experience but will face difficulties in exams and grabbing opportunities.
Placements: Since MA is not professional degree as MBA, placements are less, but placements definitely take place. Around 30-40% of students with relevant skills and experience get placed at a maximum of 10 LPA and a minimum of 2 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies for my course are HDFC Bank, Deloitte, etc. Talking about internships, most of the students get internships in government plus private companies based on their expertise in some areas. The job roles and scope of my course are dala analyst, economist, researcher, research associate, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities in my college are satisfying, with good classrooms, an in-buit library, a placement room, auditorium and much more. There are parts of the university itself that are within walking distance of the college departments. Also, there are a number of private and government hostels available around the university campus. Facilities in the hostel are also good, such as in-buit separate mess, medical facilities, etc.
Faculty: The faculties are permanent plus visiting. They are mostly qualified and some are professionals in their field of study. The course curriculum is also satisfactory. The syllabus and subjects are closely related to the field of study. The college provides many opportunities for getting experience in the market and industry. Talking about exams, they are not so difficult to fail the students but attendance and regular studies are a must.
Other: I completed my 12th in the Humanities field. That's why I found that graduating and doing post-graduation in Economics was a good choice. The college organizes various events, including cultural and sports festivals. Some university-level competitions and programs are excellent ways to connect students on campus. Scholarships vary according to the course and scholarship requirements.

M.A. in English Literature - Batch of 2024
5.0
Recommended for admission in DAVV.
Placements: Companies used to come to the university even for the master's in arts, for jobs like news reader, content writing, and many more. TCS also came to my department for placements, and they took many students. One local news brand also came to recruit students.
Infrastructure: You can live there; it's not that bad. You can eat food that is, well, not very good – that's my honest reaction. The rooms are properly ventilated. The furniture is not that great, but there's a bed, an almirah, and a table with a chair for studying. The mess is in the hostel where you can have food.
Faculty: The curriculum is designed completely according to the need for knowledge that one can use after the course, like in competitive exams. The professors are actually very good. When you talk to them, you feel like you're in a good place to study. Their teaching is impressive.
Other: The university is well-situated in the heart of Indore, with everything easily available nearby. You can take admission; it's genuinely recommended.

Discontinued( June 2022)- M.A. in Performing Arts - Batch of 2026
2.8
Why you should choose this field?
Placements: There is no post in the current arts curriculum. No active placement cell is in the department going on. There are various types of internships we can get but there is no placement after the completion of our studies. Although the infrastructure is good, it is not for beginners. We have to adapt the curriculum ourselves.
Infrastructure: The course is very good as it provides us with vast knowledge of history, geography, psychology and sociology. In the hostel, there are not enough rooms for students for the first year and the food quality is not so good. Students leave the hostel in their first year and prefer to stay in a private hostel or as a paying guest.
Faculty: The faculty is good, as they are very well qualified and educated, as per the information given to us in the orientation of our batch. The curriculum is very well designed for students who are good in the humanities field. Exams occur regularly, as their are two mid-semester exams, one assignment and one end-semester exam.

If you have no other better option, then you can go for it. Overall, I would rate it as 4/10.
Placements: Approximately 50% of the students got placed in our course. Since it is the field of arts, humanity, and language so the average salary package varies a lot. The highest salary package offered maybe around 4-5 LPA, and the average salary package is 2.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies vary from the field of teaching, newspaper, social media marketing, NGO based, content developer, education, etc. Around 50-60% of the students got internships and top roles in the above-mentioned companies. Due to covid 19, the scenario may be quite different since I am a 2019 passed out student.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good library facility. There are several books related to different subjects. We also have a good Wi-Fi facility. The classrooms are average. Sports and games facilities are very good. A large and separate playground is available for different sports. The hostel is good with safety and the canteen is fine.
Faculty: Teaching quality is average as there is a lack of faculty. The course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. The difficulty level of the semester exam is average and can be passed easily. The level of the exam is not too standard and also not industry-ready. You can improve your knowledge by visiting the library and reading books by yourself.
Other: I chose this course because I want to make a career in this field. The quality of education can be improved. There is no sufficient faculty available. If you don't find any better option nearby then you can opt here otherwise can go for a better option if available.

My college is the best college.
Placements: Student must have a 75% score to apply for this course. The highest average package offered in our course is 18 lacs; the lowest is 2 lacs. Google, Microsoft, and Amazon are the top recruiters for our course. 87% of students got an internship. Computer supervisors, managers, and other important roles were offered in our course.
Infrastructure: College faculty and infrastructure were very good, the college department was very good, and the teachers have very good behavior in front of students. Classrooms are neat and clean, libraries are filled with students, and students can easily access library books. Hostel rooms are cleaned once in a week. Food of the mess is the most delicious food I ever ate. College medical facilities are top-rated. The college also organized sports functions and games that developed the student mindset.
Faculty: In my college, teachers are super qualified and helpful; their knowledge provides us with better lessons to understand teaching qualities. The students are industry-ready. 62-75 percent of students face difficulty by the students in the semester exam. The student needs a passing percentage that is above 65%.
Other: The college is not far from my home; it's near, so that's why I chose the college, but not only for traveling. The college annually organizes even a festival that entertains students and does monthly extracurricular activities that fulfill every student's need.

The highest package offered in the college is around Rs 63,000 and the lowest package is around Rs 58,000 per month. 70% of students get every year internship from top companies and many top companies recruit students from this College.
Infrastructure: There are lots of facilities in the hostel and I suggest everyone take admission to this College and take advantage of the hostel. All services of the hostel are excellent and students feel that they are at home and not at the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers of the college are very helpful and they are always ready to help the students and their nature are very kind and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. The pass percentage of the semester exam is 33% and there are no difficulties in the exams.

DAVV University does not conduct entrance exam on it's own. However, DAVV considers entrance exam scores of exams, such as CUET, JEE, CMAT. The exams mentioned are needed for UG and PG programmes. The final admission is done through counseling sessions.
