Good faculty, decent placements, and a supportive campus environment.

Placements: Around 70% of students get placed. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA. The top recruiters are Patanjali, Hamdard, and Dabur. About 60% of students get internships in government hospitals and research centers. Roles offered are Unani Medical Officer, Research Associate, and Wellness Consultant. It is the best college with an attached hospital.

Infrastructure: Our college offers well-equipped classrooms, Wi-Fi access, modern labs for practicals, and a library with a wide collection of Unani and medical books. The hostel facilities are satisfactory with basic amenities. The mess food is hygienic and served on time, though limited in variety. The medical support is available on campus. There are limited but functional sports facilities for games like volleyball and cricket, and occasional cultural and sports events are organized. Overall, the infrastructure is decent and supports academic and personal growth.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and experienced. The teaching quality is good and supportive. The curriculum is relevant and helps students become industry-ready. The semester exams are always moderate in difficulty, with a pass percentage of around 85–90%.

Other: I chose this course due to my interest in Unani medicine. The best part is the practical exposure and traditional knowledge. More tech integration and extracurricular events would be helpful. The campus is peaceful, the crowd is friendly, and scholarships are available.

Review of Saifia Hamidia Unani Tibbia College.

Placements: Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) program is a full-time degree program in Unani medicine. After pursuing it, the person is known as an Unani doctor. There were 51 students in our batch who qualified for the NEET exam and we are going to be Unani doctors. We can start our clinic or go for a job in a hospital. Our college doesn't provide placements in any. One must do it on his/her own.

Infrastructure: Our college had departments for the study of Unani medicine like the anatomy lab, physiology lab, pathology lab, department for single drug (Unani), department of compounded drugs (Unani Medicine), department of gynecology, pediatrics, and more in our college. There is a boys' hostel with nearly 40 rooms. Each room accommodates 2 students capacity. There is a girls' hostel.

Faculty: Our faculty members were well-qualified and knowledgeable. They were qualified as per NCISM qualification criteria. They were very helpful in learning about Unani medicine and surgery. There were more than 25 teachers for 250 students. The BUMS course was a gateway to the field of Unani medicine and the practice of treating diseases that could not be treated by modern medicine. Our exams were conducted by MPMSU Jabalpur. They were neither so easy nor difficult. One could pass easily by studying for 3-6 months for a yearly exam.

Other: The reason for choosing BUMS was different for students of the same batch. Some chose it because they didn't get into MBBS. Others chose it because they wanted to study UNANI medicine and their traditional knowledge about how patients can be treated without using chemicals (modern drugs). There were lots of events and festivities, including a monthly weekly gathering on campus.
